Perfect for the purpose! I wanted to pair of breathable pants I could slip on and off over my outdoor gear, and these are the ones! I took them sea kayaking in Alaska and they fit the bill perfectly. It rained almost the entire time but I stayed perfectly under these. (My GoreTex parka actually let me get a little damp.) These are too baggy for hiking, but for something you can slip on over your boots and pants, they're perfect! Also, they were more breathable than I expected. Even though I was actively paddling for several miles, I had no problem with them retaining sweat. Great value.

They run big so beware when purchasing your size. With that said i was perfectly dry and would highly recommend them. Get the jacket to match and you will be forever dry

I suppose it is somewhat large so you can basically put it over anything you are wearing and since it does breathe, you won't get overheated with too much on. The only real issue I have is with the straps at the bottom of each leg. The velcro is actually in the wrong place and you cannot really seal the bottom of each leg. I would still purchase them though because my ski pants make my legs sweat and these pants don't.

These pants actually work so well! I was skeptical, especially as I was going to wear them on the Olympic Peninsula while we explored the rain forests. But they are big enough to fit over my leggings (I bought the men's size small even though I'm a women and they worked great), and kept me completely dry ALL DAY. I was walking in constant rain, and I was even able to sit on wet logs and my under layer was not wet at all. The Velcro at the bottom helped me secure them closer to my hiking boots since they are pretty wide. Highly recommend!

I ordered these for a fishing trip where wet was going to be the norm. They did an outstanding job of shedding water, the sizing was perfect for me, and they were rather wind resistant which was helpful on long boat rides, The legs/cuffs were big enough to fit over shoes. It would have been convenient to have slit pockets to access the pockets of my pants worn under the Frogg Toggs, but I suspect that wouldn't have sealed tightly enough to keep water out.

Completely waterproof at my job I am constantly kneeling in puddles of water and it doesn't leak in the slightest. Only issue is it wore holes in it within a couple months, but I am on my knees a lot so the holes in the knees were my fault. Also one more thing worth mentioning the velcro on the bottom of the legs frequently would get caught on the opposite leg which eventually wore holes there. I got the medium one and it fit over my jeans easily. (I am 6' 1 pant size 30/32)

What can you say about Frogg Toggs that isn't obvious? The material is somewhat noisy. But it stores well; wears well; holds up to minor abrasions/doesn't tear easily; remains waterproof. . . The camo doesn't fade. I have some expensive-waterproof hunting wear that is softer/soundless material, but it can't be easily rolled up and stored in the corner of a backpack--at the ready when you need it. There isn't really an alternative in this price range I have the matching jacket and a hat. Good products.

Awesome for the price keep me dry all day in Seattle rain. They dry fast. Not as durable as I prefer but can buy 5 pairs of these for the what I would spend on more expensive ones. I work outside framing houses and have gone through thousands of dollars in rain gear over the past 15 years won't but anything else again.best part after 3 or 4 months when you tear them your not as upset as you would been putting a hole in $200 Carharts

these are super quality...BUT THEY ARE HUGE. I am 5'7 and weigh about 210lbs. i am pretty stocky i wear a 33" waist. these are 2 sizes too big. Going to order the medium. or even the small.

I am just under 6 foot 175lbs, I ordered a large size pant & coat. I am satisfied with both but be aware the pants have very long legs. Have to "hike" the pants al the way up to keep them from dragging. They are a bit stiffer than my old nylon rain pants, but I think they will hold up well. This stuff is almost impossible to tear by hand. You will really have to abuse it to wear it out.
