great outdoor security camera!!

This security camera is amazing!! I use it for outdoor security and am able to see everything in the day and night it is so simple to set up and easily use! the quality is great for the video and picture so it works well to make sure everything is safe outside! i definetly recommend getting one if your looking for a camera to put outside your house or even inside

Surprisingly good

Fairly easy to install. REQUIRES a smartphone to do so though. 64gb SSD holds about 10 days of video. Clear color picture during the day provides enough clarity to see the neighbor's cat sneaking onto our property from 100 feet away. At night it switches to grey scale. Picture is sharp. Provides enough background light to easily make out said cat getting caught in our live trap while the raccoons that the trap was intended for give it a wide berth. Motion detection works reasonably well. There is a high medium and low setting. Low setting captures and alerts when the UPS man is stepping on your front porch. Medium captures the UPS guy''s truck and them him exiting his truck 20' beyond your porch. Low captures the nats swarming your neighbor's cat's poo from 25'

High quality outdoor cam...Great night and day video

I am very impressed with this outdoor camera. I installed it on my garage to get video coverage of our driveway. It was very easy to mount and get setup on the Akaso Smart Home app. Once it was mounted I had it installed and setup in the app within 5 minutes. As you can see from the attached pictures, image/video quality is high both in day and night situations. The night picture is without any lighting as I do not have lights on my garage. I set the motion detection to medium and it will still send me an alert even if a car passes on the street. One tip is make sure you format the Micro SD card to FAT32 BEFORE installing it in the camera, otherwise the camera will not recognize it. My last task is to figure out how to get it setup with Amazon Echo so I can display it on my Echo show. I highly recommend this inexpensive outdoor camera. Great quality at a great price.

So far good !

I purchased a number of IP cameras from Amazon, all of them stopped working after few months. I was searching for something doesn’t have reset button with a cable and easy setup for SD cards. Upon checking several weeks on different cameras, finally I chose this one. It is the best one comparing to other eight cameras I bought from Amazon. Easy setup and very good pictures quality. So far no complaints, I will see another few months then update my review again..

WOW!

I am so impressed with this camera. We installed on the back of our house looking over our swimming pool and yard. This is a great little gadget. I am very far from a technology geek and I was able to install and get this thing going on my smartphone. The night vision is excellent and the day time view is beautiful. Sometimes I have a little bit of problem viewing on my phone, but I think this may be due to the fact that I have too many things going on with my phone. May be time to upgrade. I am thinking about getting another camera for the side of the house.

Great security camera! Must have!

Love the camera. Very satisfied with my purchase. It picks up motion from vehicles driving by. If someone knocks on my door I can tell my Alexa echo spot beside my bed to show me the front door and then I can speak to them from my the comfort of my bed. I also can see when packages are dropped off on my porch. The only thing I wish it did was scan I wish I could get it to turn so I could see a wider view but other that this is a great buy!!!

Overall, this is proving to be a great outdoor security camera, especially for the price. Nice to be able to see what is going on at home, and I like that I am no longer limited by having to find a spot that is protected from the elements as I had to with past cameras.

What a pleasant surprise!. The installation is simple - easy install of SD card, Real good picture quality the night vision feature was clear, Allows ability to efficiently monitor any specific area needed, I can view them crystal clear from my phone,which is a feature we love.

RECEIVED THIS VERY FAST. EASY TO INSTALL BUT TOOK A LITTLE WHILE. AFTER SETUP IT WORKED GREAT USING MY WI FI AND LOVE THE QUALITY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO JUST WANTS TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THEIR PROPERTY WHEN THEY ARE AWAY.. INDOORS OR OUT OVERALL GREAT PRODUCT. THANKS!!!
