It works very well!

I have been metal detecting for several years, been through 4 detectors, and several pin pointers. The first thing I was impressed by was opening the box and reading the card that comes with it. The second thing I was impressed by was it worked as well as any other pin pointer I've owned. Now over 4 or 5 weeks later and several uses, I am sure I will never spend 150.00 for another pin pointer again. This unit for 30.00 WORKS. Some pin pointers you can scrape the ground with for low depth targets and not destroy them. With this unit if you take a min and break the surface, use it for what it is, a pin pointer. I believe it will last for a long time for the money.

Better than expected... bought it as a back-up, could easily be a primary.

The pinpointer works exactly as advertised and seems to be of very good quality. I used it for several hours since I received it and have no complaints. I bought it as a back-up to my aging White's Bullseye II, but I think I'd be happy using this product as my primary pinpointer.

It works well

Works well, can detect a dime at about 1.2", an quarter 1.5". Nice light, good vibration signal. Not to bad, for the price.

The one to buy

Wow what a nice product not only is it the best price it's waterproof comes with battery comes with a sheath in a lanyard it is just well built and works like a charm don't hesitate you won't regret buying this one . One caution the button is a light touch and delicate. I spoke to soon it's not completely waterproof. Just an update after having this for a while I'm convinced it's just as good as the expensive ones maybe even better you won't regret it it works fine for what you needed to do

Great for finding small treasures

I was concerned at first on how effective it would be to I tested some coins and metals around the house. It was very accurate at locating items within about 5in depending on the size of the object. But after getting a feel for it, I felt more comfortable with what I was detecting, at least the distance from the pointer. Realize it can also function as a stud finder by searching for the nail.

Great treasure hunting addition

My 10 year old LOVES using this in combination with his metal detector! Seems to work well considering all the "treasures" he is constantly bringing home.
