As many others do, I have to use the battery for my ring doorbell. It used to irk me to have to swap out the battery every few weeks and then be sure to charge up the spare and put it back in the drawer for the next swap. Now it’s just pull a freshly charged battery out from the adapter and slap the used one in to charge up. It also includes the charging cable and the AC plug (believe it or not, there was once a time when we didn’t have to specify that). I like that the battery is held securely in place and that I can charge two batteries at once. Very pleased with this...wish I’d found it sooner. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect to have as a switch out when the other battery runs out. I like having the backup so I don't have to miss anything while the current battery is charging. I love my Ring devices. Better than any security system.

I hate my ring doorbell. thank god they make these charging ports so I have it ready, weekly, to change this thing everytime I get an annoying email telling me it’s almost dead again. I bought the double port just in case I buy a new ring security camera one day. Really the former owners installed the ring doorbell in a really terrible direction (towards a really busy street) and didn’t use the existing wiring. So it dies frequently. Pain in the butt.

Charger small and convenient doesn't take up much room, charges battery in about 7 hours. You can keep it in the charger until needed. Only problem with the "Ring" is battery drains in about 3 weeks, but always have an extra battery in the charger ready to go...

Works great to keep your ring camera battles charged. its an good idea to buy at least two extra battery packs. this charger doesn't come with any.

This is a great option to have. To be able to charge both of my ring spotlight camera batteries, at one time. Keep in mind it takes hours to fully charge these batteries from 4 to 8 hours.

The Ring Dual Port Charging for Ring Video Doorbell so far has performed well. We maintain 2 batteries in our spot lights. I'm not sure this works any faster than the regular usb cords, but it does eliminate the need for 2. The one thing that could be improved is the lights that indicate charged is located in the middle between where the 2 batteries sit, so if you are charging 2 batteries at once it may be a bit more difficult to see rather than if the lights were on the side.

Having recently purchased a Ring Spotlight cam set up for my house, I was looking for a way to effectively charge my batteries among the cameras. This one fit the bill quite nicely. It comes with the base and cable. USB adapter sold separately. For the sake of my test, it was plugged into a 5V 1A out port. As a result, it charged my battery from 68% to 100% in ~ 3 hrs. This is not a perfect test as I didn’t sit there any perfectly check when the light turned green but it should be close enough. Ideally you’d leave this running over night and it would charge. One thing I did notice is that one particular side of this particular unit made a small electric hum. The other side did not do this so I’m guessing something was a little off but it didn’t appear to have any impact on charging and you couldn’t hear it if you were 4+ feet away from the unit. It’s very light weight, but holds the batteries in snug. It takes advantage of the specific ring battery shape so that it plugs in easily and firmly. If you’re looking for a cable management solution to charge several batteries, this is a GREAT add on to the Ring ecosystem. In addition to lights on the battery, it also has an LED indicator to let you know charging / charged on the unit itself for each bay. Overall, I definitely recommend this!

I liked how I can always have a backup on standby if I am out of town and my battery is running low, without going all day without knowing what is going on at the front of my house. If you already spent the money on the Ring 2 Doorbell you might as well get a second battery/charger it is a great investment and can be used for the Spotlight as well.
