Exactly what I needed!

I am overjoyed with this purchase. Just got a new machine and it lacked all the ports I was used to. I use an additional monitor, an external drive, a wireless mouse and headphones all at the same time. With only 2 USB ports on the HP Pavilion, I needed extra ports. While my laptop converts easily into a tablet and uses a pen or my fingers, I still needed to conduct business when I am not being 'fancy'. At present I have my wireless mouse and my headsets attached. Everything works great! The data port is very slim (so sexy) and the cord is long enough to position the data port close by … but short enough to not be cumbersome. Great buy!

Well made for travel

This multi-USB port is solidly constructed and convenient for travel. It has a power rating so be advised that it may not be useful for charging a USB device or several.

Plug-and-play for Mac and Windows

I travel a lot for work, so I decided to buy the earlier version of this with a shorter cable. Exactly the same hub, identical USB connector, just a longer cable. I bought this longer version for a home office setup. I only have positive things to say about this hub. It's plug-and-play with every computer I've tried, including both Mac and Windows machines. It looks and feels well built, and my earlier purchase of the shorter cable version has held up against countless travel setups. Anker continues to impress me with their quality, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I find the need.

Great USB Hub

I am using this Hub as a small extension so that my keyboard and wireless xbox controller connects reliably to my HTPC which is hidden. So far I am having zero issues with latency or connection. No issues whatsoever and it is slim and looks nice. I do wish the cord was slightly longer for my use, but it is sufficient.

I wanted to buy this as a stopgap until I buy more USB ports for my computer. I wanted to run a G29 steering wheel, Logitech controller, printer, and gaming headphones off of it. At first I was not too sure if this would work with all of these devices, but I am happy to report that all of the devices work as intended when they're all plugged into this hub! I would recommend this to anyone who needs it!

Fast 4-Port reliable hub

Adding two more portable HDD to my system that required more 3.0 ports then my system could provide. This proved to be the best choice. Highly recommend it.

Great extension for my Surface Pro

Most Valuable for Laptops with Few USB Ports

My Surface laptop, superb system though it is, has only one USB 3.0 port, so I occasionally have to choose what I'm going to do without. This device multiplies that number to a more reasonable 4, and that's much more usable. I can, for example, use my accessory wireless mouse and keyboard, copy a number of files to a flash drive, and still have ports left. This is the purpose that recommended the purchase to me, and I haven't been disappointed.
