I've got four of my trays in use currently. Haven't gotten any yield yet, but I've only recently sowed the seeds. I'll update once I've got seedlings to tell how they're turning out. The containers themselves are more resilient than my previous (jiffy brand) starter tray that never got used due to warping heavily after one day in sunlight. These containers only got a minor shrinking from being in sunlight within the greenhouse while covered. Still fully useable. Moved them to a shaded shelf to reduce the potential damage, though I plan to move them back to the top shelf when the lids are no longer needed. I love how the trays are transparent. I also like the humidity controls. I asked about these for the greenhouse earlier in the month, and decided to get them afterwards to increase my greenhouse plant numbers. My recommendation is to use these either in a shaded spot in the greenhouse, or on a shelf outside, or in a plant room indoors. Don't put them in direct sunlight inside a greenhouse because the dome will intensify the rays alongside the greenhouse panes, and could cause shrinkage of the pot cells. Uncover them if you must keep them in a sunny spot in the greenhouse, or use a good shade cloth on the greenhouse to reduce direct sunlight on the domes. Update (June 10th 2019) I've got greater success with seedlings using these trays than I did with starting them in regular pots. Here's two photos taken exactly one day apart of my cucumber seedlings. Just two days since the first seedling sprouted and we're already to the point where they'll need transplanting soon. Once again, I would highly recommend these trays.

I have a 300 sq. ft. area that will look great with a ground cover we like. Area nurseries quoted $500 for mature plants to drop in and eventually spread to cover the area. We are DIY folks, so I looked online for a seedling starter kit. The MIXC kit is perfect. We can get enough cuttings off 4 mature plants ($20) to do the job. What I really like about the MIXC kits are their portability, the green moisture control pan, the size of the seedling trays are a perfect, fit for the cubes that hold the cuttings, and the tall clear cover has a humidity control. MIXC's kit is well thought out!

I purchased these seed trays over a less expensive competitor because I liked the clear inserts to be able to monitor root growth. Hopefully mold and algae on the inside of the walls won't negate this feature. I also chose small, individual trays over a large tray that holds 72+ seedlings because I want to be able to keep small numbers of seedlings going at various times throughout the growing season and I can rotate these around to accommodate different stages of seed to seedling growth. These trays are heavier plastic than the disposable 6-pack trays you buy annuals in and heavier than the Jiffy brand seed trays commonly seen in the big box stores. More like the plastic in a good quality to-go box you would get at a restaurant. They should last for years with proper handling. The clear domes fit snuggly over the base and the vent on top seems to work well. When not in use, everything stacks nicely together for storage. As you can see, 6 trays fit perfectly on each small metal shelf in this unit that is 23" wide with room to hang grow lights above the trays. The only negative for the higher price is that these didn't come with the little tools the cheaper competition has.

These are actually reusable and the liner is as well. It's pretty nice to grow seeds and not create a mountain of plastic waste in the process. I kinda rolled my eyes at the clear tray being helpful but it is actually - you can see when your little seedlings are getting rootbound and need some room to spread. I did mostly peppers in them and am super happy with their performance.

Recently I want to try some gardening and grow some green onion and some catnips. These trays come with the tools that are just what I expected. The trays are solid and the price is reasonable for someone like me who is new to gardening and just want to try and test out before too much upfront investment.

I'm an indoor cabinet grower and got these for seed starting. They are probably the best made humidity dome thingies that I have ever seen. Unfortunately though, the wells are too large for the seed starter plugs that I like to use. I will be keeping them to use with seedling starter soil though.

I'm accustomed to planting trays being excessively flimsy. While these are not overly sturdy, they are certainly sturdy enough to do the task required of them and, with a reasonable amount of care, to last for some time. I'm starting my seedlings (a variety of different veggies and herbs) indoors under grow lights, so I cannot attest as to how well they hold up under the heat of the sun. They're a bit pricier than other similar products listed on Amazon, but the clear plastic propagating tray made it worth it to me personally as it provides the ability to observe the root development of each seedling without disturbing the roots. There are only enough plant tags to cover the number of trays provided. If you're going to be planting more than one variety in each tray, you may consider purchasing additional plant tags. Other than that, soil, water, and light, you get everything you'll need to start 120 seedlings with this kit. I can think of no reason anyone would be dissatisfied with this product.

This has been our favorite addition to our seed-ery for our gardening! We constantly have rolling plants coming out of these. We plant 4 plant types with 3 seeds/plant and we enjoy keeping two and gifting another plant to a friend. It's enabled us to start sensitive seeds without much effort from our busy lives! Also, they definitely are reusable. We have only been recycling through our first two containers and haven't yet touched into the remaining ones.

These little greenhouses are EXCELLENT quality and arrived in perfect condition. I was missing 2 of the clear seed starters and contacted the company last night. This morning I received an email with replacements on the way. They are so nice I ordered another set this morning. I could not be anymore pleased with the product or the outstanding customer service!
