High quality product!

I received a high quality instrument, l know that it will serve me well for many years to come.

A bit big for general carpentry work.

This was the most well designed compass that I found for use as a scribing tool. Mostly the cross lock and the pencil is on the same side which allows me to get the point side right up against the surface that I am scribing too. Unfortunately, I have to return because the overall length was a bit large and I got the 8" version instead.
