This is an update on prior review. Originally I returned the headlights as they did not light up on my car. * BEAMTECH contacted me and extended their apologies for the product not meeting my expectations. * BEAMTECH did ITS OWN research about my car's light housing and figured I needed an additional connector * A new set of headlight along with connectors were sent right away. * Now I am runnign LEDs for my DRLs and HighBeams I suggest that if you experience something similar, contact BEAMTECH, their replies are rather fast, and allow them to assist you. I am in awe still at the fact that they research my car's headlight housing to figure out what may have been the issue. When these run out, hopefully in a few years, I will most certainly re-order from BEAMTECH with obscene confidence.

I was sceptical that these LED bulbs would be bright enough for night time driving, which I have been doing for 24 years now. The hood on my big truck points the headlights at the ground when its open and I installed them at night. I compaired the LED to the regular halogen side by side and wow..what a HUGE difference in color. I had no idea how yellow halogen bulbs are! LED's should be mandatory on all vehicles, they are that much better. A side benefit is I run a dash cam and it "sees" a lot better now. Also, at 30,000 hours, these bulbs should last me 10 years at 8 hrs a night, 6 nights a week. I highly recommend these bulbs! I will never go back to halogens. Update: November 2018 Headlights are still going strong on the Freightshaker and I like them so much I installed them on our 2013 Mazda3.

So this is going to be a little bit of a Long review, but here it goes. Sometimes people will be unfair to the seller when a product doesnt work up to what they expect it to be. The item itself is well made, packaging is amazing, and the plug and play aspect was really easy to install. The LED is a bright white in color and there is a noticeable difference in the amount of light that these are putting out verses the old stock lights. So here is the draw back on the item. When I installed the item everything worked, but as I was driving my car a dash light came on, saying check engine. So I did a bit of research and found out that it is common when using LED because the car thinks that your headlights are burned out because the fact they are using less energy. Well I contacted the seller and this is why I gave them 5 stars. They understood exactly what I was talking about when I told them the problem and to correct the issue they sent me a decoder. The decoder basically tells the car that your headlights are good, bc it converts the proper wattage. The Decoder is $20 by itself and they sent it to me for FREE! I liked the lights so much that I ordered an additional set and the seller also sent me the decoder for those as well at no charge.

Work great. However, I needed the ''led warning cancel'' canbus adapter. 2016 f250.

I drive a 2014 Toyota 4runner Trail Edition Premium. I have had trouble in the past with hid bulbs going out all the time while off roading. I got to the point of going back to silverstar ultra xenon, and once those went out i decided to order these. Both hi 9005 and lo h11. After two months of having these i have fallen in love with them. The light output is amazing. Clean beam too. No one has flashed me with my lows on so thats a plus too. First picture is of low h11 and second is both hi and low beams on. I was on a late night road trip home no one out and i was on cruise control. Going from stock halogen to these leds are a HUGE difference. No mods to fit and just a plug and play. No canbus and the dust covers on the 4runner fits like normal. Love em Highly suggest these.

These LED bulbs are excellent and provides a very clean and even beam pattern. They work as DLR in my Silverado with no issues. They only problem I had installing it was on the passenger side the dust cover did not want to go in place because the heat sink is to big but with enough playing around I finally got it somewhat in place. Funny thing is it fit fine on the driver side. Im still giving it 5 stars because it seems to be good quality for the money. And is a very bright light. Also it does not blind on coming traffic. No need for adjusting. It matches my LED fog lights perfectly which are another brand but still 6000k.

Just got these installed yesterday, and took a test drive in the evening. The aim of the lights appears to be very close to the original halogen bulb. The headlight assembly has an internal shroud that helps restrict the beam to below eye level for oncoming drivers. I suspect the two-sided pattern of these lights more effectively contribute to beam containment that the three-sided versions of other vendors. I hope they won't have too much reflected glare when driving in fog. These lights were installed in a 2008 GMC Sierra pickup. Changing headlight, turn signal, or side marker lights on this unit requires total removal of the headlight assembly; not a job for the faint of heart. Because I only wanted to do it once, I re-lamped everything with LED replacements, including Beamtech 9005 high beam lights. I can't decide if the color of the light makes seeing the road easier, or if it's because of increased brightness. Maybe a bit of both. Updated review: After driving on a dark wet road, I found these lights were far worse than the halogen bulbs they replaced. But, I noticed that the alignment of the LED array was at 90 degrees to the headlight reflectors. I decided to experiment before going back to halogen bulbs. There is a tiny set screw in the mounting collar of the LED "bulb." I removed the screw, which allows the collar to be slid off the column. I drilled a small hole at 90 degrees from the original, then replaced the collar and screw. I did the same with the 9005 in the high beam socket. In a subjective comparison of the two sides, one with bulbs rotated to align with the reflectors, the other as they came from BeamTech, the correctly aligned bulbs threw light much farther down the road with less off-axis glare. The original bulb, misaligned, looked much brighter to oncoming traffic, but put very little light where it was needed on the road. A few more really dark roads will allow me to determine if my efforts were totally successful. For BeamTech: please add an additional hole in the mounting collar so that all your bulbs can be rotated at least 90 degrees. Misaligned headlight bulbs are blinding to oncoming drivers, and useless for illuminating the road. After driving on a dark road at night, the re-aligned bulbs make a world of difference in down-the-road illumination.

These worked great for my low beams in my 2016 Honda Civic. Now the headlights match the running lights.

I've used aftermarket HID kits for years, and a year ago switched to LEDs. While the brightness was nice, it had a noisy fan in the back that made a high-pitched whirring sound that I couldn't get used to. Hence why I purchased these BEAMTECH LED bulbs with passive cooling. Not only are they completely silent, but the light distribution is also much more even, as you can see in my picture. Driver side is the BEAMTECH, passenger is the older LED bulb. Also note that these BEAMTECH bulbs have 3 small diodes, whereas my old one only had 1. Installed on a 2014 Toyota Highlander. Will be buying another pair for my other car- a 2014 Honda Crosstour.

I had previously tried another brand that costs more but the output wasn't correct (see my other review) so I am returning it. I thought I try another brand and ordered this one. I tested one and the output worked with 2017 Subaru Impreza. The light output was almost perfect matching the halogen but only stronger. There is a cut off line, so no blinging other drivers. I'll report later on what I find using it more. UPDATE: 4-Aug-2018 I recently bought the new 2019 Subaru Ascent and have traded in my Impreza. But I did purchase another set of Beamtech H11 LED as a replacement for my stock halogen H11's in the Subaru Ascent. It looks great inside a projection housing and has a really clean cut off line. As you can see I didn't hesitate to buy again!
