ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED

Wow! Didnt think I'd ever find something to curb my schnauzers love for barking. Spent over 200.00 on the sonic large ultra sonic egg - didn't phase her one bit but worked for my maltipoo. Spent 130 on petsafe small dog static collar... again.. like she had nothing on at all. Tried a manual static collar... only works when you're there to push the button. Put this new collar on her and within a half hour... she knew to stop barking. Let me say.... this isn't something to keep on all day all the time. This is when she barks out of control and we're camping. Or in the car and she barks at everything that moves. It has its place and hopefully in time... I wont need it at all. For 30.00... I figured how good could it be... worth every penny and then some. Would absolutely suggest. I'm impressed I was able to put this on the lowest setting with great results. I wasn't given this item... I purchased it after reading many many reviews on all types of collars. Totally impressed. We will see how it holds up over time.

It saved my life.

He would bark loudly at someone walking behind a closed door. He barked at children, babies, the people next door, my grandmother, me, my own baby. My child is teething and is up all night. When she finally went to sleep the dog barked at the silence. Good God. I was up for 41 hours. I cried and ordered this no bark collar and it Rush shipping. It saved my life. He would bark and cause himself anxiety. I truly believe that. After he stopped barking he was happier. He finally approached the nice couple living next door with a tail wagging. He's never done that before as he usually would be flipping out. I can take him on a walk and to the dog park. Before he would go up to a poor person and just bark at them. His behavior as a whole has changed for the better! I don't even need to charge it! He plays with other dogs now!

Best Bark Collar So Far

This is the third bark collar that I have purchased in an effort to discourage my dog from barking. This collar, like most other standard bark collars, has a setting which first warns the dog ( by initiating beeping and/or vibrations) prior to actually shocking. If the dog stops barking after the warnings then the collar does not deliver a shock. Thus, hopefully the dog will ultimately learn to stop barking without receiving a shock. If the dog ignores the warnings then a shock is delivered. The strength of the shock can be adjusted (5 different levels). The other 2 bark collars I have tried also had similar features. The problems with the other 2 bark collars was : 1) The collars did not consistently shock and 2) The collars were powered by non-rechargeable batteries that always ran out. Of course when this happened, there would be no shock when the dog barked and the dog would not learn that barking leads to a shock. With this collar as long as certain precautions are done (explained below), the collar always shocks. Most importantly, this collar uses a rechargeable battery that I simply plug in the wall every night like my cell phone. The charge easily lasts til the following night. Rechargeable battery is definitely the way to go. The only caveats I have with is that in order to ensure that the shock is delivered you need to keep the collar somewhat tight around the dog's neck without choking the dog (I make sure I can still fit my index finger between the collar and the dog's neck) and I needed to trim the dog's fur to make sure the collar maintains adequate skin contact. Still this collar is the best one I have tried so far and is certainly worth the money.

Fits any size dog and price is good

Value for money. Collar can be any size you need for small dogs (like mine) to bigger dogs. My picture shows you the size.

Interchangeable Prongs for different hair lengths

Can not wait to try this on our Blue heeler who chases our kids and barks while they ride their bikes :) Love the interchangeable prongs for different hair lengths !

It works!

I set this up according to the directions and it works wonderfully to stop my do from barking, however, it is picking up my other dog's barking and setting the collar off even though it's not supposed to. However, my dog no longer barks incessantly at the back fence!! He barks once, the collar beeps and he shuts up. It really is amazing

Calmed my beagle down

So we’ve had this for almost 2 weeks and we love it! Currently are using it for our beagle who goes nuts over the smallest thing. Before he would be barking and howling at a bumblebee that was on the ground. That’s how ridiculous and over exaggerating he was lol Now when we take it off he still does bark when someone is being mean to him through the fence but won’t bark other than that. Very happy with this product.

Worked within days

It works very well. I am certified as a dog obedience trainer and we adopted an unsocialized shepherd that had been kept out in a yard allowed to bark at all things and for anything. I was hesitant to buy a shock collar because you hear the horror stories - but this being a static shock there's no risk of electric burns. It's also go the option to not use the shock and only have the beep an vibration. If you've ever seen trainers use the clickers - it's a VERY similar technique. We've had it 4 days now and I had take her collar off and set it on top of her kennel. She barked, heard the beep and immediately stopped barking, without needing the shock. Works well!
