Perfect for 12-volt gadgets

This power-supply is super convenient. If you’re considering buying it then you already know what it does. I can tell you that it works exactly as it should, as it delivers a steady 12.39 volts. There is a little blue LED that lets you know the power-brick is getting electricity, but the cords are not detachable like what you see in laptop power-supplies, so this is an all-in-one package all connected. Like all power supplies, it gets warm to the touch after running for a while, in fact it stays warm even if you just leave it plugged in, so I'd recommend unplugging it when not in use to help it last longer.

A nice adapter to power my car tire pump

This device is great to have if you have car adapters you want to use in your own home. This one I used to power my car tire pump. My car tire pump at first would only work when plugged into my car and my car had to be turned on to allow it to have enough power to pump the tire. With this device, I was able to plug this directly into my wall plug and pump my tires. This does save me on needing to turn my car on as well as gas. It provides enough power to allow my car pump to work. This also does work with other devices that you may need to charge this device. I actually really enjoy having the option of being able to plug in my car devices and having them work in my regular house hold. This power adapter also has a good length to it so it also acts as a pretty nice extension allowing me a bit more flexibility on how far my device can go from the power outlet. The device fits any car cigarette lighter device. The device does get warm when it use but nothing alarming. It is pretty well built so there is no worry about cable fraying or plugs breaking. The plug in holds pretty well and takes a bit of effort to pull out. Overall this is a good device to have if you are looking for a device that allows you to use your car devices in your own home. You can plug pretty much anything into it from what I can tell and it works pretty well.

Works very well so far!

Got use in car for my portable DVD players. I have ones that attach to the headrest. The system came with long cords that plug into each player then into the cigarette outlet which is close to front dash. The cords keeped getting tangled & in the way as grandkids got into car. I shortened each cord with a twist tie & plugged into the new cigarette adapter end then plugged the AC end in outlet behind the front seats. This now sits flat on ground & is nicely compact! I've had no problem with the plug pack overheating or stopped working shortly after purchasing like others have stated. So far so good, will keep u informed if status changes!

Draw down on power

I first bought this item to power a tire infiltrator pump. It worked find the first three times! now it will not product the power required to run the pump. It still reads 13 volts but will not run the pump. I will use it with other items, but will not purchase it again.

Well suited for my needs.

I needed a way to power a portable CB and a few other car accessories. This worked on all of the items I tried to power and didn’t get hot at all. I was powering low wattage items so I was well below the stated 5 amp capacity. It worked great.

Handy air compressor

Got this when my old compressor died. I bought a converter so I could connect it to a wall outlet. It works exactly as described. I measured the PSI readouts against a tire gauge and it read within .5 PSI. The ability to set a desired PSI and have it auto shut off the main reason I got this. At half the size and noticeably quieter (for an air compressor), this little compressor gets the job done.

Works with my portable automotive cooler

Have a Rally Portable Cooler that sat in the closet for years. Sister wanted to use it in her room. For some reason, these things only have power cables that plug into the car. Combined with said power cable, this power supply keeps the cooler running. I believe sister said there is some noise that you hear from it when the cooler is on, but it's only audible in the room it's running in.

Appears to be well made and should be durable

Bought to power a small 12 volt automotive fan heater to help protected the water pump on are 5th wheel RV. We got caught in a blizzard in Rawlings Wy. Returning to NE from Las Vegas. We were stranded in a Pilot truck stop for 3 days and the water pump on our RV froze. Bought this to supplement heat directed at it to prevent freezing.

Wife loves it

I had bought my wife a heating coffee mug for her car, however, after having a baby she no longer drives as much and the cup has not been used. Purchased this device to let her use it inside the house and she loves it. Can also be used for car chargers for cell phones and stuff if your in home charger breaks.

Works as should

Used to connect Sirius XM car radio to head unit in garage. Works great.
