It is a nice upgrade for my ring door bell. Have not had any lack of power.

I had an ancient 16v doorbell system with front and back buttons and one set of chimes. When I upgraded one button with a Nest Hello, there wasn't enough power to ring the chimes much less add another Nest. I swapped in this unit and everything works now. Chimes even got a little louder, so maybe I don't need the Nest now. :-)

Seems good so far. I also measured 27.6 VAC at the posts and when I ran wires about 20 feet. But our Nest Hello runs fine with it.

I wasn't having any issues with my Ring Doorbell Pro other than occasional pixelation when someone rang the bell and activated both the mechanical bell and added in chime my original transformer was a 16v 3 wire but my main intention for this transformer was to hook up an outlet plug and plug it into a UPS battery back up but so far it's just wired on as a replacement the voltage reads about 27v at the transformer but when I get a chance I'll update reading at the RingPro but also I need to point out the camera loads a little quicker & clearer but I'm also not getting any pixelation at all anymore definitely worth it

So I installed a ring pro doorbell, wanted to upgrade my transformer from 16 to 24v. Off to lowes I go ,pick up the best one they had, 24v 20 amp multitap. It was a piece of junk. Its mounted in my attic and every time you walked under it in the hallway it sounded like a beehive buzzing and was noticeable at night sleeping. I ordered this one and it's like night and day. Not a sound emitted from this transformer. Adequate power and its quite to. Its power actually increased my rings WIFI signal strength as well. This is the one you want for your video doorbell.

I am glad it is compatible with Ring Video Doorbell, and so simple to wire up!

I installed a Nest Doorbell a few months ago and everything was working perfectly fine until it wasn't. What stopped working fine was that when someone clicked on my Nest Doorbell my indoor doorbell chime no longer rang. Through the process of elimination and internet research I learned that the issue was my doorbell transformer. I had a 16V transformer installed but I guess it wasn't enough power to ring the doorbell chime. I purchased two doorbell transformers (one from Amazon and another from Home Depot) but neither worked. They were the types of transformers where you could choose what voltage to use. I ended up returning the Home Depot one and just recycled the one I bought from Amazon because it was too much work to ship back. I was also going to accept the fact that my indoor doorbell would never ring again but of course things not working has a tendency to keep bothering me. So I took another shot and ordered this doorbell transformer. I decided to pick this one because it didn't have the option to choose the voltage. The current 16V one I had was just 16V and you couldn't choose the voltage either so I chose the 24V one that best mimicked that. AND IT WORKED! Wired it in and it worked the first time! Now I can hear that ding dong that drives my dog nuts again! :-)

This transformer is great, I needed for my ring door bell. Ring door bells need at least 16 volts to work properly. Since I install this transformer the ring door bell work perfectly.

Worked perfectly for 2 doorbell chimes and a nest hello. Measured 27v at posts, 23.5v at nest hello 100ft down the line.

Transformer fit onto the side of the box well and my doorbell camera stopped dropping its wifi all the time with the higher voltage.
