These are actually usable across the full range

Because there's 4 pads on each strip, each with a different reagent, it makes it easy to see pH very accurately. With litmus paper, it's very difficult to tell the difference between things on either end of the spectrum, so you can tell the difference between 5 pH and 10 pH easily, but it's hard (or impossible) to tell the difference between 2 pH and 3 pH. These strips do not have that issue.
