better than using a hair clip

I have a problem with wax building up near my ear drum. With this devise I am about to look as see what I am doing. Before I was so scared to get in there. I always thought I am going to hurt or damage my drum. NOT ANYMORE.

It does the job!

My ear wasn't hearing well for 2-3 days so I bought this and asked my husband to check my ear. It was very easy to use, since I have a desktop you just plug and use while the quality of camera is pretty good for the price. We are happy with it.

Worth the money

My son has been complaining his itchy ear. And i bought this product to make sure nothing serious going on there. And it helps a lot to see the details inside. The quiality is good for 25 dollar and very easy to use.

Does What It Says On The Box

Does exactly what it says. It plugged right into my Windows 10 standard USB port using an adapter that came with it and used the Windows 10 built-in Camera app. It could not have been simpler. I explored the inside of my head while sitting at my desk. I also used it to explore the back of my head, back of my neck, back teeth, and up my nose. I had way more fun with this than I probably should have.

great tool to play with

My wife lost her eardrum(tympanic membrane) when she was young and she was always curious about how inside her ear looks like. I finally had a chance to show it to her. We both checked our ears and yes, it was fun. You just need to download a software and connect it to your computer.

It's help me find causes of my itchy ear

My ear it has been really itchy during the winter, even I cleaned it frequently with Qtip, but it's really itchy during night time. I purchase the scope to see what is going on inside, and when I tested it. I able to see that my skin is very dry inside, I made a trip to the doctor and I have no more itchy ear. The scope itself very well made, and very easy to use and installed. It comes with few sized of cones that make you able to find fit for your ear. Also, come with the connector of USB and Type C.

I'm surprised!

I wasn't expecting much for $25 but I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm an Occupational Hearing Conservationist and I own a Hearing Conservation Services company. I bought this hoping it would be a tool we could effectively use to educate those that we test that have "problem audiograms" (i.e., significant changes in hearing compared to baseline, reported ear problems, etc.). I think it will work perfectly! I tested the unit using a 15.6" laptop and plan to use it regularly on a 20" PC monitor. On the larger screen there was noticeable pixelation. It's definitely not HD level image quality but on the smaller screen of a phone or tablet I don't think the resolution would be an issue. Scoping my own ears I noticed I had a little bit of wax so I switched from the speculum to the included curette (wax removal tool) and got it out. BE VERY CAREFUL USING THE CURETTE! The scope with curette is easily long enough that it can be inserted right through the ear drum and cause significant damage to the middle ear system. Also, removing wax with the curette can be uncomfortable due to a nerve in the ear canal that can cause a gag/cough reflex. I also scoped my wife's ears. She's had years of problems with her ears due to eustachian tube dysfunction (ETD) and almost always has a perforation in her right ear as a result of the significant negative pressure caused by the ETD. Last week she saw her otolaryngologist who said that he didn't see a perforation. When we got home she wanted me to look so I did (with my Heine mini 3000 otoscope that I keep at home) and I also didn't see a perforation. But when I used the video scope yesterday, voila, there it was! It was only viewable at an angle that felt extreme using my otoscope (pressing up firmly against the top of the ear canal to get as high a perspective as I could manage and viewing downward) but that felt very comfortable using the video scope. For the money this is a fantastic little tool. It could be improved in areas here and there but it's still a great value and worth 5 stars.

Very usefull

Very useful item, I can check my ear now without going to a doctor it’s very useful. the quality of the camera is sd, but it enough for its purposes. It's easy to install both on PC and phone. I enjoy using it, also I checked my mom's ear because her hearing is not good. And I found a huge wax stone in it and I took it out. So now she hears great.

Do it yourself.

This is a great little device for those that like to take as few trips to the ole' Doc as possible. Comes with all the tools you need to take of the ear canal. Kind of weird, reminded me of Biology class. But you will get use to it. I even use it to look in the back of furniture I can't move to look for lost things, use your imagination for other uses. Recommend 100%.

So Happy I Bought this!

I am so happy I bought this otoscope! I have repeated ear infections and problems with my ears due to psoriasis. I currently have an ear infection that has been hurting me the past few days. My son used the scope today to look in my ear and "wow! fungal ear infection, no doubt!" It is great as a diagnostic tool and just to see what in the world is going on in my ears. I hooked up the camera to my desktop computer which runs Windows 10 and it was so easy to get running! The value is great for the money and if you hold the camera at the right distance it focuses well. I highly recommend this product and would buy it again.
