Great value and great customer support service. Remote is not too user friendly though. So like some folks, I initially thought some of the light channels were defected. I was about to return it and decided to send out a quick email to them to see if there is a quick fix. They replied back within the day or two. :). If channel light doesn’t seem to adjust or do anything. Click “Full power” then click “channel 1” then “-“ button like 11 times. And “channel 2” and “-“ button like 11 times and so on for the last two channels. After that, all channel lights should be off and now you can start adjusting the all channel light. Yup, email them if further problem. So far, so good for me. Thanks. Here their email instruction: Press "Full Power" first. Press CH1, then press "-" for several times until the light in channel 1 is off; Press CH2, then press "-" for several times until the light in channel 2 is off; Press CH3, then press "-" for several times until the light in channel 3 is off; Press CH4, then press "-" for several times until the light in channel 4 is off. Normally, the light will be turned off after you done these steps. if not, please let me know. Some photos I add of how I use the light to move the anemone where I want it to be. ;) Cheers

I just received my Lumini Pixie 30 a few days ago. I am very impressed with the quality of the light. It has a very sturdy aluminum mount that fits on my rimless tank nicely. I like the fanless cooling with beefy aluminum fins. IR Remote is easy to use, just point and press which channel you want to raise or lower in intensity. I’ve set up this light overtop of a Marineland Portrait 5 gallon. I’m very pleased with the color spectrum and shimmer that this LED light provides. I’ve only just added coral to the tank so I cannot say how they are fairing as of yet. I will give an update when I can see what kind of growth comes out of it in the future. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

★★★★★ from AtypicalCollegeStudent on February 8, 2018 Great light with a lot of power! I ordered the Asta 20 planted version for my new 10 gallon tank. I thought I could make it work even with the tank rim (the product info has been updated to say it works on rimless tank only). Well, no luck on that, without cutting some of the rim. I was planning to mount it to a very small shelf behind the tank, when i realized it would clip perfectly to my bookshelf. The light comes with a flat 180° lens that spreads the light pretty far, and a domed 60° lens that makes it more of a spotlight. With the 180° lens, I was disappointed in the color rendering. My fish and plants appeared washed out. I tried the 60°, and that’s perfect! Somehow the light is warmer and more natural with the smaller spread. Several points: -as others state, the dimmer switch is finicky. If you want to dim it, start on full blast and slowly dial down. Going from off to medium dim just doesn’t happen- it goes from barely on to almost full blast. -the freshwater version does NOT come with a remote. The images clearly state the box contents. I think some people are confused because the box insert shows a remote. I believe the remote only comes with the saltwater version, but they use the same flyer inside each box, making it seem the remote should be there. -this light has enough power and spread with either lens to adequately light a 10 gallon tank. I’ve got medium light plants on one end of the tank, and I placed low light plants such as java fern on the opposite end of the tank. I could swivel the light to spread it out more and get what’s Is estimate to be medium light through the whole tank, but I have it focused on one side. My betta enjoys having a shady area, and I love the shadows and varying light levels this creates. I’m attaching some pictures of my betta in a rimless 5 gallon so you can see the great color of his fins and the plants. I’m also adding pics of the 10 gallon with light at full power, then slightly dimmed.

This Asta 20 LED light costs much less than Kessil A80 Tuna Blue (I own both) and provides eye pleasing light after only some adjustment to the 4 LED channels via the included IR remote. The intensity of each channel changes way too much with just one click of + or - on the remote. Also the gooseneck mount can only be used with rimless tanks. Yes this was answered in one of the 67 Q&A but I didn't read through all of them before ordering this product (no point deducted here). Overall a great LED light and I am keeping it for my 10 Gallon nano reef tank.

I usually don't write review much here but this time I have the urge that will need to let all the other buyer know. This is a GREAT LIGHT ! The price is like "Poor Man Kessil" price but it actually serve better then Kessil. I am not talk about how "Bright" this thing is, although is very bright for what it use for recommend size of your tank. but it function BETTER then Kessil. You can dim this light to many level, Kessil can't. You need to buy separate controller for Kessil, this one don't. Kessil has the best shimmer effect, this one has it too. Not to a point like disco effect. The adjustment is endless. Kessil need to buy at least 2 accessories to achieve. The color spectrum is nice also, more on the yellowish side then blue which what I want for planted tank. Build quality is SUPERB ! For this price, you got a full metal thing except that plastic screws which you want it to be plastic. Give you an extra lens if you want more focus beam light style. I leave it 100 on for couple of days to test it out, still work, and the housing is just warm to touch. This light has NO FAN ! means no noise ! Kessil has fan. It's better then Flex Mini. They are great light too but this Asta 20 are serve more functions AND 30 dollars cheaper then Flex Mini. If you are looking for pendant style (Kessil like) light for your aquarium. You own yourself a good chance not to give a try ! I have own Kessil, ADA, Anchera, Flex Mini, Altemis, Prime HD and Raidon. This light sit on the top of my chart ! Yes, you can say all of the other also good light too... yup ! but no good to your wallet ! lol.

I bought the marine version of this LED light and it was working great for 6 weeks. Then one morning I tried switching it on, there was some flickering and then one line of LED's stopped working. I called Amazon and luckily I was able to return the LED light for a refund. I liked the LED light very much but I do not know if this was only a problem with this one lamp i had or if there are issues with the design? If you do order this very beautiful looking LED lamp, hold onto the original box and all items it comes with.... just in case you encounter the same problem I had! *****UPDATE I was contacted by the seller and they offered to sent me a replacement lamp, free of charge, to reevaluate their LED light (marine version). The LED light eventually arrived and so far it works perfectly fine. I like the design as much as I like all the settings i can operate the light with. I use this light on a very small 3 gallon tank and its looks great to me, the light is so small for the light power it is putting out, you will be amazed! I'm not operating the light at full power but reduced the setting to about 3/4 as that is plenty for my use, it also may aid to protect the lamp for longer operation. You can definitely grow coral in your tank as the light is equipped with LED's of a broad band spectrum of the blue light, there is even 1 LED integrated that is emitting UV light (the light emitted from this 1 LED is not visible, so do not think that this 1 LED is defective)! An amazing Aquarium LED light for a great price, backed up by a company that stands behind their product 100%. I would definitely buy this LED light again! I can highly recommend this product!!

This is a great little light for a nano reef. I have mine on an 8 gallon cube and all of my coral (mostly polyps and softies) seem to love it. I like that you can adjust the channels to get the color just right. I decided on leaving the blue channel, up channel, and RGB channels on at full strength and then turning the white off completely. Gave me the nice blue color and flourescent coral colors that I was looking for. Not quite as bright as a Kessil but it's also 1/3 of the price of just their nano unit so no complaining here. I plan on trying the freshwater unit soon.

I bought this light to go over my 8 gal nano reef. This light exceeded my expectations. The body is well built and the power brick seems to be well sealed. Also included in the package was a optional lense that changes the angle of the light spread so that is goes from a spotlight to more of a flood light. The extra lense is a nice touch. The shipping was quick as well. I have a couple other nano tanks and I will be buying more for them. In my picture the new light is on the left. The difference is amazing! Both tanks are identical except the lighting
