Grading: A !! This was perfect for my sons first year playing the trumpet in 5th grade.. the school tried to get me to spend money on a brand new one with a music school but this one works just as good and cost not much.. This was a life saver & We are very happy!

Nice affordable mouthpiece, try it, you may prefer it over that 7c

I bought the Eastar ETR-380 a while back and loved it and was amazed at the value, but it came with a 7c mouthpiece and I prefer larger mouthpieces. When I saw Eastar sold inexpensive individual mouthpieces I decided to try a size 3c. While size 3c is sometimes listed for intermediate through advanced players, many beginners find this size easier than the 7c from the start. The rim is not too big or not too small, and the slightly shallower cup helps with control and articulation. Some players use the same mouthpiece all the time, and others switch depending on the circumstances, but I believe its good o try a few sizes early to find the east ft for you. This mouthpiece makes experimenting easy.
