My son is a true beginner , it helps him to practice chord. The size is good for practice at anytime & anywhere. The quality is great, my son likes this pocket guitar.

Excellent stand light!

I have a private studio in my home teaching voice, flute, and piano, and the ambient light just isn't enough. I have been using a mini booklight for a while, but it ate batteries and only illuminated a 3"-wide swath of the page. This lamp is just about perfect. The light at both levels is clean and steady, the rechargeable battery lasts and lasts, and the power cord is a great bonus. The one thing that is a little frustrating is that neither side of the clip interior is soft/rubbery. My music stand is a basic Manhasset, which has the dual ribs running across the top, so I either have to keep the bottom of the clip above the ribs, which seems a bit wobbly to me, or put the clip over the ribs, which is less wobbly but still seems a bit less sturdy than I would like. But my students and I are pleased with the light.

As a painter, this light is the perfect even lighting for when I paint in the evenings. Lightweight, portable and long lasting light. Only thing I can say was a tiny drawback was the clip on feature is great and it works, but wouldn't mind the clip being a bit tighter. It stays put, no problem. But when clipping it sideways can slide tilt a bit. Still stays clipped no problem, just not quite as upright. Otherwise...amazing!

This product is awesome. I can practice for dexterity and muscle memory anywhere. It's light and does NOT make sound in public. Basically made for people who are serious about practicing. Do not buy if you just want a super tiny guitar for fun. It's not a guitar. What this product is not: -As mentioned, is not a product that produces sound. It's meant for finger placement exercising. -Is not tunable. The wrench is to tighten strings for tension to make it more realistic feeling. Again, does not produce sound. Pros: -Good quality. Esp for the price. -Comes with extra strings, wrench, and case! Again for the price, awesome! -The frets are a little spaced out, more than my guitars, but I guess it's good for dexterity... Don't know if it's a pro or con, but I'll choose to make it a positive thing. -Super light. Very portable. Extends long enough to hold comfortably, and not too short so that it's awkward. Cons: -The frets are a bit sharp on the edges... I don't have a metal filer to file it down, so I'll have to figure something out. -Initially difficult to open. Just have to push slightly downward and away with thumb really hard the first time to loosen its grip. It's easier afterward.

Won't leave home without it

I play regularly with the band at my church, where the technical team seems to enjoy changing the lighting all the time. More than once, the glow of electric blue or pink lighting wrought havoc with my ability to see my music. Since they are not likely to ditch the dramatic lighting effects, I needed to get a stand light. This one seems to be solidly made, recharges quickly, and gives me two levels of LED lighting. I also like how the battery seems to be reliable for at least 6 hours (warm up and three services on a Sunday.) Light output is quite satisfactory for all-dark to bright room light levels and some funky colored effects too. The price is quite reasonable. I am very happy with this product. PS. Just tried it out on a car trip, at night, when I wanted to do some knitting but didn't want to bother my husband with the map light. Worked like a charm.

No More Bulk Batteries from CostCo

Big point is the rechargeable batteries. They are cheap enough to get two and one goes in the charger while the other is in use. It's not as bright as the Light Bright (or whatever it's called), which I've been using until I forgot it at a rehearsal, but, I don't have to buy any more batteries. I've been collecting my spent batteries for a year until I can find a place to recycle them, so it's pretty depressing to see all those rare-earth metals sitting dormant when they are getting rarer and rarer. Can't say much about battery life at this point, but, they will not dim after a 2.5 hour rehearsal....

Easy to carry.

It’s even smaller than I imagine. Easy to carry with it. Good for the beginner to practice the guitar anywhere anytime. The customer service is good. I got quick responses to my questions.

Okay, so I am beginning in learning how to play guitar. I want to get chord translations down. So when I am at work, I can’t have a full guitar on my lap. This is amazing for training/learning on the go! Sweet buy

Would buy again!

Very well made! This was purchased to clip onto my daughter's solid steel music stand. Very pleased with this item. The clip is very sturdy, and doesn't slip or slide on the metal stand. It stays exactly where you put it. The neck is flexible, but stiff enough to hold position. We haven't had any issues with the lamp drooping after being re-positioned. The light has two brightness settings, which are just right; not too soft, and not glaringly bright. It's nice having a rechargeable battery and not have to worry about plugging this lamp in while in use. We'd definitely buy this again!

Works as intended

This has many poor reviews, I believe this is because of wrong expectations. It works just fine as a last-ditch fretting practice tool when you simply can't have your guitar with you. I am just learning guitar and this is allowing me to keep practicing as much as possible when I am away from home. It is not exactly a work of art, but it certainly functions as intended.
