I was impressed with the fit, very snug where the j arm connects and also to my Lancer helmet. Some of the reviews had me worried it would be loose fitting. Not to worry if using mil-spec pvs14 and j arm. Well made and functions perfectly. Even the fde-ish finish is well done.

Made of durable metal

I ordered this for a loved one. He showed it to his unit and was satisfied with the quality. They joked that he shouldn't have bought one, should have used the mount provided. His group unfortunately didn't have one though. So I feel much better now that he is equipped with a strong mount.
