Small, light and useful

I went with my 9 months old daughter in a hotel for holiday for one week. I took with me this small cooking to prepare her food. It is so small and light that I had no problem in the luggage. It worked perfectly. I could cook all her favorite food.

I've only used it a few times but so far it works great.

Been using this for three weeks now.

I love to make breakfast in my hotel room because hotel restaurants are so expensive. This will make my pour-over coffee and a egg/muffin sandwich in 30 minutes. It will boil 22oz of water in a tin cup in about 10 minutes. Then with a tiny one-egg pan, I fry an egg, put that on a english muffin with cheese and deli ham, then warm it on both sides. That process takes about 15 minutes. Warning - higher end hotels do not allow cooking in their rooms. So before you leave, be sure to hide your equipment out of site or you will get busted. Great little hot plate that opens up all kinds of possibilities for food.

Right size, works good, gets HOT - great so far

I got this because of its unusually small form factor. I use it as an incense burner. I placed this stove in a round Chinese-style urn - it was the only stove top that would fit in the urn. I was skeptical, but so far I'm impressed. The heating plate gets HOT and the base seems well-insulated and does not. So if you accidentally touch the chrome side with your hand or place it on a heat-sensitive surface you're less likely to damage anything.

When you need to boil just one egg

This is perfect for my particular need. I have a little butter-melting pot which I use to boil just one egg every day. The pot is too small to fit properly on my stove burner. It fits perfectly on this hot plate and the water boils in just a few minutes. If your pot has a small diameter base, this should work quickly and reliably. It was well worth the wait for the few weeks to come directly from China.

Easy to use....holds the temps and small and compact..I use it in craft room and it is perfect

Perfect size hot plate

I use this hot plate at the table to cook slices of raw beef in a small pot of simmering broth, like a fondue. The size and power are perfect for this application. My only criticism is that the numbers on the temperature control are gray paint on black plastic and are barely visible, but I can easily fix that myself. Just FYI, it did ship direct from China, so transit time is is longer than with goods shipped from within the US.
