I love the wool pressing mat! And I really appreciate the warning about not using it with a cutting mat underneath as it may damage the cutting mat.

Love this mat for quilting

I was skeptical just how good this - or any wool mat - would be when pressing my quilt pieces. It is fantastic! My recommendation is this or a larger size is perfect to accommodate all sizes.

Works Great

I like having a small ironing pad next to my sewing machine. It is great for sewing projects and touchups on clothing. I've seen that some people notice an odor, but I did not. I fully recommend this product. It performs as advertised.

Great addition to my "retreat" bag

I purchased this for a quilting retreat I attended recently as I am currently working on a large Judy Niemeyer project. I thought instead of taking a large ironing board and iron. What a fantastic new "tool"!! It was the perfect size to sit on my table near my machine and presses BETTER than my big ironing board! Why didn't I make the switch sooner :)

Where has this wool mat been all my life

Oh my, why did I wait so long to get one of these? When the comments say the pressing is crisp and accurate, they are right! I just finished a quilt top and it was a really a lot of work and the pressing mat would have been so useful pressing all those Hunter Star trapezoids! As for any smell, seriously? No, it is minimal and this is coming from somebody that can't be around chemical smells and perfume (hate those and for me, it is life and death). I would recommend this to any sewer without hesitation! Thank you ---- Lovin' it!!!!

Perfect solution - Nothing better than this mat to make quilt blocks and seams lie flat and perfect. Love the 17x17 Size wool mat which accommodates up to 15 inch quilt blocks or as small as 3 inch ones ! Perfect for flat and perfect pressing of quilt blocks and seams. No odor for this VERY thick pad. A good investment!

Great pressing aid!

Great pressing mat. Been sewing for 45 years and wish I'd had this along the way. Successfully executed garments, quilts, crafts are achieved when good pressing is involved in every step. This mat makes that process very handy and the wool felting provides excellent heat absorbtion. Must have for any beginner to experienced sewer!

Worth the money for sure!

I’ve been sewing for over 60 years and never owned a wool pressing mat. All I can say is WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE THIS MAT MAKES WHEN PRESSING QUILT BLOCKS!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
