Nice set of impact swivel joints.
Pros: 1. 1/4, 3/8 and 3/4 drive swivel sockets that you can use with an impact. 2. Nice quality steel - heavy for the size. 3. The finish of the material is nice and makes them feel very high quality. 4. I used the 3/4 with a 300 ft/lb impact and it held up fine, haven't had a reason to try a more powerful impact with these yet. Overall, i am very happy with these and they make a great addition to my tool set.

Great quality and workmanship
I've worked on and restored cars for a couple of decades now and there are times where my socket will not seat correctly because of a slight angle of the bolt. This is where this universal swivel socket set comes in handy allowing the socket to seat correctly and remove the bolt without stripped threads or scraped knuckles. Pros Quality construction and detailed finish Swivels allowing for a solid connection between socket and bolt Snaps tightly in place on both the wrench and the the correct size socket Easy cleanup when using around oil and grease Includes three sizes so I am covered no matter the size socket wrench needed Beautiful matte black finish that remains this way after several uses Cons None noted

Another great tool from this brand
My hubby was so excited when we got these in the mail! We have a few tools from this brand, and he is in love. These are a great price point, but the tool itself is also really nice! They are nicely made with no rough edges. The metal is a great weight, and plenty heavy to take some abuse. No, these aren't shop level tools, but my husband does all the work on our cars, and does a lot of free hands on work alongside our friends and this should very easily do the job for as long as he is doing the work. Awesome sockets, and great brand!

BIgger than expected but work well
These heavy duty socket swivels are great when you need to get into a tight space at a slight angle. You can put this on at the ratchet end or if you use 2 extensions, you can put it in the middle of them or between an extension and the socket. It depends what you are doing. These seem built like impact sockets, they are very well made. I can't see how you could ever break one of these. Maybe if you were trying to break a large bolt free using 1/4 to 3/8 to 1/2 adapters, and if anyone were to try that, they aren't very smart. I found I was able to get quite a bit of angle from these and I did test them tightening a few bolts with my impact gun. Works well, and as long as the socket is on the bolt head, it won't slip or strip it, although you do need to be careful when you are working at an angle since there won't be as much force on the head at an angle. But in those cases where you need to loosen a bolt and the impact gun is too big and you need it just to the side, these are perfect. I'm very happy to have these in my toolbox, they will probably last forever and be handed down to one of my kids one day.

Great for spark plugs!
As others have noted, these LEXIVON Premium Impact Universal Joint Socket Swivel Adapters/Extensions are worth their weight in gold when you need them. The rest of the time, you can leave them in the tool box in the nice little package they send them to you in. They are especially good for removing spark plugs from tight spots, like around headers. Often, one of the worst things about adding headers to an engine is that the spark plugs become much harder to remove - but these LEXIVON Socket Swivel tools make it much easier to get at them and remove and re-install them afterwards. I have ordered a half-dozen LEXIVON tool sets now and I have been overwhelmingly impressed with every one of them. I was not familiar with the brand until recently but I would rank it right up there with Snap On, Craftsman (back when they were good) and pretty much any good brand of tool out there. They are really well-made tools and a great deal of thought, engineering and design has gone into them - they are usually over-engineered and not only good-looking, but strong, beefy and cleverly done. I would have no problem recommending ANY LEXIVON tools, and definitely would recommend these Premium Impact Universal Joint Socket Swivel Adapters/Extensions to anyone looking for a set of swivel ratchet tools. I hope you find this to be a helpful review. If there is anything more you would like to know, please ask. I try to check my reviews for comments and respond to them right away. If you ask something and I don't get back quickly, please check my profile page and email me and I will try to respond as soon as I see it. I think it is important for fellow shoppers on Amazon to look out for one another by letting each other know if a product is good, or if it is a stinker. I take reviewing very seriously and try to be helpful. Thank you!

Useful
These are sort of fun. I used these along with my Dewalt 20V Max impact driver to remove bolts when fixing my 2003 Civic today. Worked pretty well at changing the angle to make it easier (with an extension rod) to get at some mildly hard to get at bolts. These all have the same input size as their output size, but it might be more useful if they shared a common input size if the typical case was to put an extender on anyway. But, I’m sure the manufacturer knows more about tools than I do. Anyway, short answer is they work.

socket swivel set
These might not impress a mechanic accustomed to Snap-On tools, but for me they are adequate quality. They come coated in a light oil which tells me they may be prone to rust (not a big issue in my dry climate). The finish is probably that black oxide that black drill bits have on them. I've had a bunch of older tools with that and they do pick up rust but it comes off with something like a rust eraser without wrecking the coating. The pivot range goes up to about 30 degrees from 90.

Good Tool
I do a lot of assembling of items and work on my machines in the shop. It is nice to have The Lexivon Impact Swivel Set handy. There seems to always be a need to reach a bolt which can't be turned from an easy angle. The Swivel set gives me the ability to use any sized ratchet, often with extensions, to get to the hard to reach bolt or screw heads. The joints seem well made and tough, though only time will tell. The ends lock well into my sockets/ratchet ends and stay on. They are tight and work well.
