Great for spills!

We go through a ton of paper towels in my household. We use them primarily in the kitchen and bathroom. I usually buy the regular Viva paper towels (whole sheets, no pattern in the towel) and have been pleased. These Viva’s differ from the basic ones because these are half sheets, which I kind of like because it prevents waste. And the fact that they have a slight striped pattern doesn’t affect their ability to clean up spills. These towels are thick and absorbent. You get approximately 12 rolls for about $27. When I compared this Viva roll to one of another name brand, the Viva appeared to be fuller, have more. Regardless, these twelve rolls are comparably priced to those that you would buy in your local discount warehouse, so why not order them and have them delivered to your door? I’d recommend them.

They feel quite different than the originals, and in my opinion or better.

I thought these wouldn't be as good, or that they would be like the actual Viva brand paper towels, but I was quite surprised! They actually work well, are durable, I personally I like these better than the original brand.

My Favorite

Not as cheap as a lot of other paper towels, but I use less because it really is like using a cloth. Perfect when cleaning those things that require a little more than the strength of a regular paper towel but where you don't want to use actual cloth. Cat barf, for example.

Absorbent, strong, clean well!

I have been using Bounty select-a-size or quick-size paper towels for a long time for general cleaning, drying our hands, and even casual family napkins. These Viva towels are extremely comparable, which is good! They are so comparable, as a matter of fact, that per Amazon twelve rolls of Bounty weigh 10.2 pounds and 12 rolls of Viva weigh 10.4 pounds. The only difference I found is that the Viva towels are harder to tear, which should mean a little stronger and could carry over into improved performance. The Viva towels feel just a little thicker, too. I approached my comparison of Viva with my existing towels scientifically by putting ½ cup of water into each of two bowls and seeing how much of the water one towel would soak up and hold. I did this twice, and each time both the Viva and the Bounty soaked up almost exactly ¼ cup. That is pretty impressive for one little towel! I tried the Viva towels in more mundane but maybe more common circumstances for chores in the kitchen and bathroom and for cleaning up cat vomit, and it did a fine job. The attached cryptic (to me) table on the Viva package shows recommended uses and implies these are not for use in every room of the house, but if so, I haven’t found one yet! These towels perform well, and as a bonus the big box makes a fun cat toy!
