Easily add an extra monitor!

I am using this hub to connect a second external HDMI monitor to my laptop. I plugged the hub into the USB-C port and the HDMI cable into the end of the hub and... it just worked... immediately! I don't really need the extra USB ports, but for approximately $15 I was able to expand my system's display capabilities. For reference, I am running an ASUS ROG laptop with a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 965M video card. One monitor plugs directly into the laptop's native HDMI port and the second monitor plugs into the port at the end of this hub. I am VERY satisfied with my purchase!

Simple compact hub that works, but be aware, it glows.

Pretty happy with this hub as it works as advertised. Build quality feels very solid and it never really got hot when I ran a mouse and monitor off of it. However, my biggest gripe is that the HooToo logo on the device glows. This is a personal preference, but depending on where you use this, that constant glow can be unnoticeable or downright annoying.

Easy to use, great form and quality, I even like how it lights up when in use

I don't often leave reviews, but this awesome little thing just works, and better than I anticipated. I have used it for about 10 days now and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Far exceeds the expectations I had for similar products that cost far more. I'm using it with a Pixelbook, and it is thin enough to slip into anything I am carrying it with.

Perfect for my lack of USB ports

This thing has been working awesome with my Surface Pro (with USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter). It has no recognizable lag from my keyboard or mouse. I've even used it on my gaming laptop for an external keyboard and other peripherals.

Great USB-C Hub

works well to connect a bunch of devices. 3 X USB 3.0 ports, 1 hdmi, my samsung SD card;HDMI is able to pass video/audio at 3440x1440@60hz to my ultrawide monitor with no observable issue; usb file transfer works fast, i also plugged in mouse adapter and it instantly is able to detect on my laptop and works flawlessly. Easy setup - There is none, you just plug it in. i wish it had ethernet port but i can't complain for the price and function that it provides. I would recommend the Hub for everyday use, including office, field work and travel. I use it for presentations and it has been ideal.

Works well, good price and quality, has more USB ports than others.

Many other similar devices have only two USB ports. I wanted three, for mouse, keyboard and camera. HDMI and pass-through power both work fine too, so this is the dock for me.

Works great with my Dell laptop

My new Dell laptop only has USB-C ports, so I needed a hub that would allow me to connect all my USB-A peripherals but also an HDMI cable. The HooToo hub provides that and works well with everything I've connected to it, from a Logitech mouse adapter to network adapter to headphone/mic. Note that it does not have a direct network port; I have a USB network adapter that works fine, though. Just remember that if you want to connect to a wired network, you'll need a USB adapter.

Very useful

Very useful. I'm using this with a google phone to connect to USB speakers, SD cards and USB memory sticks Some of the unique features are the HooToo letter on the HUB that light when connected so you you know it's properly attached. The ability to charge the attached device while using the hub.

HooToo Type-C Hub

This Hub is the perfect connector between my Cellphone, (LG V20) and my external SSD drives. I also utilize the Stone Henge Dock to connect and power my Samsung Galaxy Book. For a small portable hub with the circuits to power SSD drives or flash drives, HooToo USB C Hub, 6-in-1 USB C Adapter (2019 Upgrade) is the perfect addition!

Works well with running Serato Dj, Pioneer DDJ SX2, Serato Video (HDMI & USB) and my MacBook Pro 2018. I’ve only used it with (2) six hour events but that’s a pretty good test on it. I used the USB ports (2) and the HDMI port the whole time running music videos and it works way better and runs way faster than my MacBook Pro 2012.
