I really digging the Kasa line of products

Two separate outlets on the plug with two different controls from the app. Works well with Alexa, and I had it set up in about 5 minutes to control my string lights on my back patio. My only beef is that it doesn’t work with Apple HomeKit, but I wasn’t to disappointed because the Kasa app has sufficient options, and IFTTT can help you make any other fine tune timing or scenes for more home automation. No hun required is always a bomus.

Great Smart Plug - Used for Pool Pump

I bought this to use for my pool pump and it works great so far. The set up was easy and flawless and the ability with the app to set a schedule or turn it on or off manually works perfect for my needs. It seems to have strong range since it has to connect to the router through two interior walls and one exterior wall and out to the plug which is about 45 feet from the house.

A great easy to use smartplug!

This is a wonderful product! It is so nice to be able to turn lights etc. on and off from the comfort of my easy chair. As I'm an old fellow with health issues and a faulty memory these products are a blessing. I no longer have to get up and go outside or to other rooms to adjust a forgotten appliance or light. Just use my handy smartphone to make any changes.

Easy set up

I already have a Kasa smart switch installed for my front porch light. This Outdoor plug is awesome. I didn't have a convenient way to turn on and off outdoor lights and a fan. I would have to plug and unplug when not in use. Now with this smart plug, I control it all through my phone and if need be, there are buttons on the device for the 2 ports. Absolutely love this smart plug.

Saves money easy to install. Cost efficient

With electricity prices constantly climbing (Especially in CA) I now have more than 90% of my hone on smart plugs/switches and timers and it has made a difference turning off in needed appliance when not needed which are easily switched on manually or by remote if needed. Easily saves at least $50 a month or more depending current KW cost. Tplink coming out with a outdoor plug was great bonus. I easily hooked my fountains and outdoor lights to the plugs and setup timers. Very easy to add to your phone app and control. The money I have saved to date with all my plugs have easily been paid for! Stop wasting money on devices and appliances that don't need to on/standby

TP Link hasn't let me down yet!

I bought a cheap outdoor timer for my American flag and it was a dud out of the box. I immediately submitted for a refund and at the same time, looked to see if TP Link had something I could use. Lo and behold, this, an outdoor 2 plug. I'm not sure I'd want to hang it out in the elements, it's too pretty for that, although I guess it's weather resistant as they say. Mine is on a porch though, with an LED flag light on one plug and the other is ready for whatever. As with all of the TP-Link products I've bought, this set up as quick and easy as I was able to go. Got it outside, plugged it and everything else in and there it is. Nothing else to do, just let it do it's job. I have a timer set but love the idea that I can control it from anywhere from my phone like everything else.. It's solid, well made and just works. No network issues whatsoever either. From the first bulb I bought, thinking it had to be a gimmick, TP-Link has been 100% reliable and every single thing I've used has set up and worked easily and reliably. I have several, bulbs, plugs (2 types, some I use for holiday lights etc. only) switches and now this outdoor plug. My house is covered in Alexa/mobile device control from TP-Link, and it's reliable every time.

Been waiting for a good TPLINK outdoor smartplug!

I've been waiting anxiously for a good TPLINK outdoor smartplug to come out! It seems to be quality made and should hold up quite well to the outdoor elements but time will tell. I really like the ability to control two separate plugins on the same unit. It adopted easily to my WiFi network and integrated seamlessly with my other Kasa App smartplugs. I setup some IFTTT rules that are triggered based on outdoor weather conditions and it works slick. I've been a big fan of TPLINK products for several years now and this is yet another solid smart device from this company that I'm glad I purchased.

First remote plug that fits correctly

Up and running with app and alexa n ten minutes. Only plug on market that actually fits into an outdoor outlet straight on. Hangs down so water drips off and not into plug. Wifi no issie 30 feet out from house on shed.

Best Outdoor Switched WiFi plug of them all.

I have tried many other outdoor WiFi switched receptacles - returned them all - and this is, by far, the best and most intuitive, logical and easy to use unit. Supported by a top-notch app. Best reception distance and FLAWLESS. I had been waiting for this, as their indoor units worked so well. I finally requested TP-Link to make an exterior model (I'm sure it was in the works at the time ;) KUDOS to TP-Link and the Kasa app. Well done. Highly recommend going with this platform.

TP-Link KP400 Outdoor plugs work great with the Kasa App and Google Home products.

I've been hoping that TP-Link would come out with an outdoor plug that works with the Kasa app family of products. As soon as I got the notice they were available, I ordered two. I used one to replace a mechanical yard lighting controller and pond pump switch that no longer worked and the other will be for outdoor Christmas lights. Configured just like the other Kasa devices and is working perfectly with control from the Kasa App as well as Google smart commands. :Looks heavy duty and totally weather proof. Great addition to my TP-Link Indoor and Outdoor cameras and indoor power switches. All managed from a single Kasa app!
