What's NOT to LIKE!

I have used "Money belts" in the past but could only place a few bills in the compartment. Getting ready for a long trip where cash was a necessity, I purchased this belt. Its wider than most meaning you can place more money in the compartment as well as looking better on you. The buckle is substantial and it looks like it will maintain its grip no matter what I'm doing (I have had lots of plastic buckle web belts that easily un-do themselves at the worst occasions) It's TSA approved where I don't have to remove it to go through security screening. I easily adjusted the length. BUT wait, there's more......besides the reasonable price, Zero Grid clearly stands behind its products. They are so confident that they work that they offer a $300 travel protection plan against loss of items stored in the belt AND 2 Worldwide Lost and Found Tags for any item (camera, phone, watch etc) to help you recover them if you loose one that has a tag attached. This service is from ReturnMe and according to their website these two lifetime membership tags cost over $10. Any company that stands behind its products to this extent have my purchasing power. I'm going to report back on how this my security belt worked on my next trip. I am confident from what I've seen so far that it'll be just perfect.

Very handy in many ways. Strong!

At first glance, I didn't think it would hold up. The buckle seemed confusing, but its basic. Some instructions on the buckle would have been good because I swear when I snapped it closed over the strap, that it was going to break. That sucker didn't break. Very strong and tight. It wasn't going anywhere. It just takes a lot of pressure to close it. The pocket is very long, and the zipper never got caught on any of the material, which I fight with all the time on my purse. I can see me using this on my next travel, but for now I tested it out taking my dogs for a walk. All I needed was my house key, and poop bags. Its not bulky and I just spun the belt around, flipped it, for easy access while walking. And I didn't have to worry about losing anything. Works great! Highly recommend it.

peace in mind when traveling

I bought this belt in anticipation of an upcoming vacation in Southern Europe. Everybody who heard that I was going to Italy told me to watch out for thieves. Needless to say I was made highly anxious and started to look for alternative carriers of money etc. while traveling. The reason for me to decide on this belt was simple. I wanted something that looked natural, not something signalling that "I'm a tourist who's never been here before." I am super slim (waist size 24") so a highly adjustable belt is needed and it has to be narrow enough to pass through loops of regular female pants. It lived up to its appearance online and was adjustable, easy to use, and looked like a belt, not money concealer. We had an enjoyable time in Europe. Nothing got stolen. Not even any suspicious looking person got too close to me. I guess I was making a big deal out of nothing. But I am happy that I bought the belt. It provided me that extra peace in mind that I needed.

Excellent and secure Money belt

Contrary to some reviews which suggested that the space for cash was limited I found there was plenty of space. I measured a full 26 inch zippered pocket, enough room to fit four standard bills folded lengthwise and I easily was able to fold together 10 $20 bills lengthwise with no difficulty sliding the zipper. Which means $800 in twenties can be easily conveyed or $4000 in one hundred dollar bills. Trimming the belt is easily done with standard scissors and heat sealing prevented unraveling, I used a propane torch. There are no metal parts which means there's no need to remove it during security screening. I think it's a great value and will give me peace of mind while traveling.

Expectations? Met.

Is it 42"? Yes, but that doesn't quite make it a belt that's going to be comfortable for someone on the big side of a size 42 waist. I found it nice and comfy, but be advised. Other than that, there's not really anything going on that I don't like. It looks like my other belts, which is a big plus for me. Nice and sturdy, and the zipper compartment is useful for all sorts of stuff. I've got guitar picks in there. As they're never around when I need them. But I've got a trip coming up, and it'll be nice to stash some cash inconspicuously. Good times all around.

Great for TSA

This was great for traveling. The biggest headache my son has had is taking off his belt or belt buckle. This eliminated that headache and going through TSA was a breeze. Also, the hidden money compartment made running through the airport worry free. The material that the belt was made of was very durable. The zipper was a little larger which added to the durability. I am a big fan of the belt and the concept. I will be purchasing for other travelers in my life. Bravo, Great product!!

Best travel accessory since power converters

This is awesome! I belong to several travel groups and often see discussions on theft in major citites around the world and how the thieves are so good at ther "job" that many never knew they lost thier wallet until they went to pay for someting. I would still keep a bait wallet with maybe 40 bucks in it so its easy to make small purchases but keep all my larger bills in this. Then go to a restroom to pull out what you neeed when you need it so no one knows that your belt is really your wallet. You may need to fold the money so it fits but the zipper pouch is long enough that you can spread out the funds and have security even as you sleep on the plane. Enjoy your travels with the knowledge that your money is safe. However wherevere you go be aware of current scams that theives will use to take advantage of you. I have not tried to put a CC in it but I may just to have one that is secure in the event the worst happens.

Peace of mind while traveling

While you can always replace your license, and credit cards are protected against fraud, if you have cash stolen while you travel you are out of luck. While there are many pouches and bags you can buy that keep these items safe, that would require wearing something extra, contributing to heat and discomfort. I love this product because it allows me to simply wear a belt like I always do, and my cash is safe and secure in the hidden zipper! This belt is definitely a stress reliever with my upcoming travels...

Definitely worth the money

I just got back from an overseas trip using this belt. I went through TSA three times wearing this and had no issues. It's able to hold several bills if you fold them carefully but gets stiff the more you put in it. I wear a size 30 in pants and as expected this was too long as it is a one-size item. I was able to cut it to length and heat the end to prevent fraying. I would buy this again.

Very adapable...don't have to wear it. Subtle way to keep money hidden!

I chose this particular belt because it looked like the luggage straps I use on my bigger suitcases, and I wanted it to use it on my carry on instead of wearing it. It worked perfectly for tgat! As the picture shows, it looks like any other luggage strap yet hides my valuables perfectly without having to wear it. It is very sturdy with a tight snap fit, and I'm very pleased with the versatility! This will be useful for many trips in the future.
