It did the trick for me. I've read horror stories on the quality of non-oem emblems. From color bleed through, to paint peeling off while removing the protective plastic layer. This had non of those issues. I examined it for a bit before installing it. It had OEM part numbers on the package, as well as the back of the emblem itself. The plastic notches on the back are solid, and I couldn't see them braking unless installed incorrectly. I had to cut mine off and use 3M double sided tape as my CF hood didn't have the drilled holes to utilize the notches. Seems like a good deal to me compared to OEM 40.00 cost. I am not sure whether this is in fact genuine or not, but it was marked as so. Also, the quality is definitely better then what I have seen.

I was a bit nervous when I ordered this, due to it being so inexpensive, but i'm very happy with what I received. It arrived on time and is definitely worth what I paid, if not more.

Good looking badge

The emblem is plastic so I don't know how it will hold up but twice they were swiped off my hood so this is the cheap alternative to the $56 BMW badge. Came with new rubber grommets easy to install, just don't press too hard. Time will be the judge of longevity.

PERFECT!

I have a 2003 M3 it took that long for the original badge to need replacing. If this one lasts half as long I will be happy. After removing the original badge I used the original grommets to mount the new one. It fit perfectly and looks great! Unless the emblem wears off quickly it seems fine.
