Great scale for a great price

This scale is amazing! I have fat calipers at home, and it matches the results I get on the calipers. Everything it weighs seems accurate so far and I love that I can sink it with my iPhone and Fitbit. So glad I bought this!!!

ACCURATE

This scale is very accurate, I waited to test it till the day i had a doctors appt. It read exactly what the office scale weighed me at. The scale came with the batteries which was nice, and although it didn't tell you were exact name of app typing innotech in the play and apple stores brought it right up. It synced quickly to both my phone (android) and my ipad. The app was also easy to register and we were able to make 2 profiles. The app is set up to also help you with goals and the interface was user friendly. If any one is looking the little button that switches between lbs and kgs is inside the battery cover. Not wanting to really spend a lot of money on a scale this one does the trick, I have been using it a couple weeks daily as long as it holds up I am very happy. If for some reason the scale breaks I will update the review.

Needed This!

I needed a scale desperately, but getting one that tells me all of the things I need to know about my weight broken down into the different things that make up my weight and overall health? Priceless. This scale is easy to install and work. Put in the batteries and press the button in the battery compartment to change from Kilograms to Pounds, and then you can use it as a cool looking scale that just weighs you. Or (and here is the best part) you can get the Innotech Scale App and see exactly how your health is affected by your weight (whether underweight or overweight). You can set up your profile, your goal weight, and keep track of everything from your phone. The App is free and also easy to work. It’s also family friendly, so if someone else wants to track their weight and step on the scale, they just have to do so under their profile. Everything is really easy, and I’m very happy about that. Good investment of money. I look forward to getting to my goal weight, but more importantly, seeing my body fat and visceral fat decrease, cause that's the part I really care about shrinking. I highly recommend.

This scale is amazing! The app is easy to use and the ability to set different users is a game changer. I really like it displays the different BMI and bone mass instead of just your weight. Everyone knows the "muscle weighs more than fat" saying, but with this scale you can actually see that in practice instead of just getting discouraged because "the big number" hasn't changed after killing yourself in the gym for the last month. I've only had this scale for a short time so I haven't seen much change yet, but I'll update it with a picture when I do. All of the other metrics this scale has helped my wife to not obsess over the scale while trying to lose weight. Just because the big number doesn't change much does not mean that you aren't losing fat and gaining muscle. I've used weight training to manage my weight for a long time. I'm a big guy for sure BMI >30 but i really like to eat while doing my weight training. This type of scale is perfect for me and I really like that I can now see the gains from the gym in a quantitative way. I'm not actually losing.

Great Features and Weight Accuracy

OK, you can see from the screenshot from my iPhone, I need to lose 40 lbs at least. I'm only 5' 7" Sigh... But that's why I bought this scale, hoping I could get some data and motivation regarding my body composition. After some testing, here's the deal. I have a medical-grade balance scale, and this thing matches it exactly for weight. The product claims a 0.2 lb accuracy. That's 3.2 ounces. So just for fun I drank a cup of coffee and damn if it didn't show a 0.4 increase. One more thing about the accuracy, I've probably had a dozen cheaper digital scales over the years, and each one reported different weights, by a half a pound or more, each time you stepped on them in the same minute or so. This one stays the same each time. It adds to the motivation when you are confident about the values. I have no way to test the body composition accuracy, but that's not what's important. What counts is being able track trends. So even though I've only lost a few pounds so far, the scale's measurements seem to track the trends consistently. The scale uses the usual capacitance method of measuring hydration, fat, muscle mass, etc. For whatever reason, their algorithm is at least consistent for each estimate, so you can see trends. Please note, the reporting on the scale is only weight. You need a smart phone to collect and see the other data. But the Bluetooth software app is FREE and pretty cool. It paired instantly with my iPhone directly from the app. The app includes individual trend pages with graphs for each measurement. So, for instance, you may lose a few pounds, and see on the 'Water' page that the loss may be a hydration thing. Keeps you honest. Cons? Not worth removing a star, but the included batteries are 'heavy duty' carbon cells, not alkalines. And, the instructions are a bit sparse. Finally, and this is not a con to me, it's a great plus when buying tech stuff: I had a small glitch when setting up the scale. The seller's tech department responded immediately and completely solved the problem.

Most Innovative Scale Ever!

Wow! This is an AMAZING scale!! The quality of it totally blows everything else out of the water. It's a slick, super high tech, attractive, slim bluetooth scale that pairs with the app very easily. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9, and I downloaded the Innotech Scale app in my Play Store. It took less than a minute. The setup was amazingly quick and simple. As soon as you weigh yourself on the scale (the final weight locks in within seconds), all the pertinent information comes up on your phone screen. This scale and app will simply blow your mind! You can use it just to weigh yourself or use it to find out everything that's going on in your body. The beautiful, reflective glass surface is easy to clean and dry. This thing is just incredible. It's the coolest, most innovative scale I've ever used or seen in my life!! LOVE IT!

I love this scale!

I work at an upscale fitness center in the HMR department. (Google HMR to find out more.) Our center has a professional brand of scale which is considerably more expensive that the Innotech Smart Bluetooth Body Fat Scale. However, the Innotech is almost 100% in alignment with the results on the more expensive scale. While I wouldn't recommend the Innotech for industrail use, it works very well for the home fitness buff. In fact, I have been recommending to our clients and one of them already bought the scale. I did receive this scale in exchange for a review but if I didn't like it or feel confident in the results, I would not be writing this. I would recommend this scale to anyone who wants to keep track of your weight, BMI, Muscle mass and Bone mass, Body Fat percentage, Water hydration, BMR, Protein, and Visceral Fat. I use the app on my iPhone so the results of each weigh-in is displayed on Apple Health. It's easy to use and shows results immediately. I am a 72 y/o female. Anyone with basic knowledge can use the free app in conjunction with this scale. If you set a goal weight,s the scale shows how much weight you need to lose to reach your goal. I am in love with this scale! It's awesome! I plan to make our clients aware of this scale since we are in the business of helping people achieve weight loss and improve their health. The scale will accomodate up to 10 users.

Makes weighing yourself not so bad

This scale is EVERYTHING! Before purchasing this particular scale, I did a lot of research. What sold me was the information it provides through the app telling you your results. It shocked me when I saw it measured "protein" Being that I am on to a healthier lifestyle journey, this made it really easy to see what's what. It measures visceral fat (great for keto people) and as stated before protein. If you're a family looking to lose weight, this scale takes up to 10 people. It does so much that the price tag is well worth it. It comes with 3 AAA batteries, nice and sleek and easy to sync. I was able to show my Dr the app with all the info and she was able to discuss certain areas with me. I highly suggest this scale to anyone wanting to make healthier lifestyle changes. Also if you have a pacemaker or any other internal medical device, this type of scale is not for you. This is indeed a "smart" scale.
