I used this product to iron my quilting pieces as I constructed them. Smooth and easy to use.

I really like the size, 14"X18". It fits on my ironing board well and is big enough to iron my largest quilt blocks. Also gives me plenty of room to iron fabric for cutting. Does a good job of helping the quilt blocks lay flat but is big enough so the block is not distorted by ironing.

The Best!

It's high quality, looks great and works great too! I almost bought one of these at a quilt shop recently and boy am I glad I waited! This one is larger and almost $13 cheaper than the one I saw! I say go for it! It's a great ironing pad for by your sewing station. It saves a lot of trips back and forth to the board. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This wool pressing mat is amazing! It really does help to press bulky seams flat.

Pressing Mat

I have never used one of these before now. It holds heat and my pressing does look nice. When using steam, care needs to be taken that you are using the whole mat and not just one concentrated spot. The wool will saturate through to the other side.
