First Impressions: I don't have a MacBook Pro or other PC with a USB-C connection, but I read another review and saw they connected to a Samsung GS10+. I thought I'd give the Falwedi 10-in-1 a test drive with my Samsung GS9. Plugged in a extra VGA monitor, usb-keyboard and usb-mouse to the Falwedi then plugged it into my phone. BANG! Works perfectly. There's a virtual desktop that kicks on, Samsung DeX, and I was good to go. "Stylish Design, Premium Build and Board Compatibility" Definitely agree with these claims. It's small in size, see picture with the Altoids tin. It's really surprises me how much they can pack into these hub devices. "Back in the day" you were glad to get a 3 port USB hub. The construction feels good, firm, and quality. And the compatibility limits I ran into were due to connecting it to my phone 10-in-one USB C Hub Checklist VGA port = tested works great on a ViewSonic-VP171s TF = not tested, don't have a card 4K/30Hz HDMI port = displayed on an Acer 23" monitor SD card reader = read with no problems TF card reader = untested, no card 3.5mm Audio/mic + 2-in-1 jack = untested, may require configuration in Samsung DeX 3 USB 3.0 Ports = auto recognized a 4GB data traveler Note, I did find that some ports were snug. But with a slight angle change and gentle push they went it. In short, I would recommend this to a friend, and buy again.

So I got this thinking it was for the computer. When I opened it and realized it was for the phone, it was one of those moments when it should have had angelic music playing & a golden glow coming from the box! Where has this thing been my whole life!!! I work with a youtube channel that explores abandoned & haunted places. Getting everyone's footage after an outing is a nightmare. But now I can collect it all in the field and not drag a laptop around. I can think of a million reasons why people need this! Imagine going to a wedding, family reunion, graduation.... well any event or outing where there are several people taking photos & videos. Bring along a little usb drive or SD card and this little baby & BOOM you can collect everyone's videos & pics immediately. I haven't tested it using adapters with iphones or micro usb, so I don't know if that will work, when I do I will update this review. I actually love this little gadget so much, we are going to add a review of it to our youtube channel (Skeptical Edge TV) and probably pick up one more!

The device has a good built quality. I especially like the metal body (which helps with heat dissipation and durability and also helps to make the unit sitting securely on a table). I am surprised by just how small it is yet it is packed with good array of ports nicely layout around the unit. The versatility is great: three USB 3.0, one USB-C, ethernet, VGA, and the audio port. The last three ports are rather interesting to see. While I have yet to use them, I can see they come in handy for some people. Personally, I would probably prefer to see DVI as oppose to VGA or oven better dual HDMI ports but nonetheless it’s nice to be able to output to two displays with the unit simultaneously. I found the edge on some of the port to be a little sharp if I glide my finger through it. The ports are rather tight which is nice but also meant inserting devices requires a little bit of effort. I wish the microSD (which is odd that it is labeled using older system of the TF) and SD ports use spring load design and comes with label indicating up and down so it will be easier to insert the cards. I got the unit to use as USB hubs and primarily to use with Dex. I have no trouble using the hub and access files on microSD cards. It works fine though I have not test the transfer speed. Dex mode works great where I only have to hook it to Note 8/S8, connect an HDMI monitor, a USB keyboard, and a mouse, and Dex mode fires up without any issue. I have yet to use the VGA, ethernet, and audio ports. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

So this device impressed me quite a bit, I was concerned because I wasn't sure if it'd work as a Dex hub for Samsung Galaxy Phones, but it sure does! This device also works on other USB-C Compatible devices, such as laptops & desktops that have the C-type socket. Pros: *Heavy Duty materials, feels very well made and structurally sound - including thick cable *Allows you to screen share to BOTH the HDMI & VGA port at the SAME TIME when using Dex mode! *Can use very port on the device at the same time, including charging your phone through the USB-C connector *Plug & Play, no software installation required Cons: (or really, the neutrals) *The USB-C socket on the device can only be used to charge the HOST device plugged into the USB-C cable. This is standard for these type devices, but it would have been cool to charge external devices from the USB-C host or use the USB-C for data transfer. *The SD card & micoSD card slots are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE, meaning that the device can only read one at a time. This is also standard for SD card readers, and wasn't really expecting anything different - but wanted to be thorough. *The device gets *WARM* (but never HOT) depending on the load. During my testing, I was using everything I could and charging, and it only warm, never reached the point where I'd call it HOT. Overall, very satisfied.

I’ve never heard of this brand before. Since the price is reasonable, and it offers many connection ports, I decided to give it a try. Being a grad student and working on data, I’d like to connect my Macbook pro to another bigger screen, imports files to a portable hard drive for backup, and be able to charge my iphone occasionally while using the macbook (Apple should have included USB-C to lightning cable in the package too, right?). Upon receiving, I’m pleasantly surprised with the Falwedi USB-C hub built quality. The metallic material gives it a very sturdy feeling. Also, the color match with the Macbook perfectly. Using the Falwedi hub, I’m able to connect to another HDMI monitor, Logitech USB keyboard/mouse, portable hard drive, USB-C charging, and a spare USB-A port for phone charging, all at the same time. Also, I was able to play DVD by plugging directly into the hub via the USB-A port (which I was not able to do using the Dell USB-C to USB-A adapter) and using the portable hard drive simultaneously. I didn’t test the ethernet port and the audio port because the Macbook already has an audio port, and I don’t need the ethernet, yet. The hub saves me from at least carrying 2 dongles: 1 for USB C to USB A (for charging the iphone or transfer data to portable hard drives), and 1 USB-C to HDMI/VGA (for presentation or 2nd monitor). If you have the Apple MacBook that has only 2 USB C ports, this product is for you. Not only that it has all the connection ports that you’d need, but it also leaves one USB-C port for additional need, such as connecting another display. In addition, I try to compare how long it takes to fully charge my MacBook from 72% via the hub vs. directly into the USC-C port. And charging directly into the USB-C hub is about 10% faster. Using the Falwedi hub: 1hr 41 mins Directly: 1 hour 31 mins Advantages: - Reasonable price - Small and compact - Build quality is good and sturdy - HDMI and VGA output - 3x USB-A ports - SD card reader - Charging port Room for improvements: - The hub gets hot while using (about the same temperature/warmness of holding a hot Starbucks coffee cup) - Probably faster charging time?

Finding a quality USB-C hub can be tough. I've had a lot of experiences with ones that didn't work before. Thankfully, this one worked right out of the box, and replaces all the ports on my older Macbook. It has multiple USB 3.0, an HDMI, SD *and* Micro SD - which I use the most. As a bonus, it also has Ethernet, which is one of those things that is useful when you need it but you never think about. I made sure to test all the ports when I got this, and it worked right away. The only odd issue is that the SD card port is upside down. But this also means that you can see the labels on your MicroSD and SD card by rotating the hub.

This worked great for my new ThinkPad. I missed having the dock that my old ThinkPad had and have been plugging in monitors, keyboard, mouse, printer, etc. individually each time I sat at the desk and unplugging them all when I took my laptop. This makes it so much easier. There are two enhancements I’d like to see and that is the hub’s USB-C being video capable and having the cord just a few inches longer so the hub could sit behind instead of to the side of the laptop (my laptop’s only USB-C port is on the side of the laptop towards the middle).

Since I first bought my MacBook Pro it was a huge disappointment that it only had usb c inputs on it. I could t use any of my flash drives or as cards, I had to keep going to my pc and syncing it via Dropbox. While shopping on amazon I came across the falwedi 10 in 1 hub. When it first came in I just quickly looked at it, upon further inspection I came to notice it complements the color of my MacBook very well, identical in color which is perfect. Each port works as expected, the only one I couldn’t test was the Ethernet port since I have WiFi in the house. I recommend this product to anyone with the same MacBook. This is an excellent product.

In the age of ever thinning laptops and electronic minimalism, with the loss of headphone jacks and ethernet ports, we are at a time in which most of our laptops have at most 2 ports. How does a device that is supposed to be the powerhouse for all of your work and presentation function with just 2 ports? This company, Falwedi, appears to have the answer for that. This USB-C hub has everything I need to make my laptop into a portable workstation. Most importantly I was looking for an SD card slot, ethernet port and HDMI port. The rest of the features are just fantastic add-ons to an already valuable device. The hub functions perfectly - I have no complaints. It does what it sets out to do and only uses one port. It's absolutely worth it to have this hidden away in your backpack just so you can pull it out whenever you need it. The hub itself is not heavy but feels sturdy at the same time. It feels like its made to last. Would recommend if you're of the people whos laptops are port-minimalists.

I was looking for something that can be used like universal adapter with my Surface Notebook, Macbook and also with my Samsung Galaxy S10 (Dex Desktop) and believe it ticks on all right places. With 3x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x HDMi, 1 x VGA, 1 X 3.5 mm headphone jack, 1 x LAN, 1 SD Card and 1 USB C charging port this is one device which suffices all my needs. Size is so compact and so light in weight that it can be carried in pocket. I used this with my Samsung Galaxy S10 and as soon as I connect I get option either to launch Samsung Dex Desktop or mirror phone screen. I connected Bluetooth mouse and laptop adapter to this while connecting to Samsung Dex and it worked great. In summary it is good efficient device which comes handy in day to day needs. Regarding built, this is pretty sturdy as compared to its size and weight.
