Works as advertised. Plugged in worked right away, but has a limitation.

I have a Ultrawide monitor (2560x1080) and a logitech k350 keyboard and a logitech m705 mouse. I use it to switch between my work laptop computer and my home desktop computer using HDMI for the display and usb for the wireless dongle for the keyboard and mouse. One problem that I did run into, no problem with the switch, is that my keyboard does not have a scroll lock key, which the switch can use along with another keypress to switch between the two computer, they keyboard's driver will detect the fn-pause as a scroll lock, but since the driver is on the computer the switch doesn't recognize the fn-pause key combination as a scroll lock so this cannot be used to switch it with my computer, instead I use the button on top of the kvm to switch, which works just fine for me.

Just plugged it in and it worked. No drivers to install and simple to use. All cables required were included.

Easy set up and works great

We needed to be able to put my laptop and a small PC on the same desk - this was easy set up and allows us to switch monitor/wireless mouse and keyboard with just one button press.

Great KVM Box

I use both a Macbook Pro and a Dell Latitude (I'm a web developer who needs to always test in the major browsers for each platform). As such, my desk was jammed with two monitors (27" and 34"), two keyboards, and two mice. This KVM switch box is THE BOMB. My desk is so spaciously empty now. I plugged both laptops into the box via the supplied USB cables, plugged in the two HDMI inputs and one output (this requires three HDMI cables of your own), and then plugged in a mouse and keyboard. BAM! What an invention. It switches very quickly and flawlessly. The only part I don't like, though, is the chirping noise when I depress the recessed button to switch. It's a loud, annoying chirp. There are two blue power lights that provide enough visual feedback. But really, this is a minor quibble. Anyway, I recommend this box. It's compact and well made (plastic, not metal, though but good). A bit pricey but now I can sell my spare monitor. it has quickly become invaluable for me. Good luck.
