Pinpointer Stolen!

I liked it very well, till it got stolen 1 week ago, on March 22nd 2019. I have a police report filed and I had also purchased a warranty with this pinpointer. Is my stolen item covered, so I can get a new one?

Works good, solid item for price.

Works well as tested! I like that it has an audible sound option AND a silent vibrating option. Also very nice is is the fact that a little flashlight on handle lights up when powered on. Comes with a homage and bubbly lanyard which also is nice. Will work well with my probing knife!

I especially like the light feature which helps you see objects in low light conditions. Also the waterproof feature lets you work even in the rain or in wet situations. This detector is primarily for pinpointing any small item that your larger detector has found. It only works in close proximity to the object and helps you find the object in a pile of excavated debris.

This is what you are looking for!

For only about $5 - 8 more than another probe that I purchased, I finally got what I needed for coin detecting! The other probe required that the target had to touch the tip to respond, so it would not direct you to the target in the hole. This probe will pick up a dime at about 1" away, which helps direct you to the target and thus, allowing you to make a smaller hole! I have also bench tested it on gold "pickers" and it will pick up a very small one if it touches the tip of the probe. For the money, I would definitely suggest this probe for any detectorist for both coin detecting AND nugget shooting.

Appears to be a decent quality product and is listed as fully waterproof. Came with holster, attachment "cable" so as not to lose hold of it, & battery. Have tested but not out in field. Way better price for this compared to others. I feel like it was a good buy for me. I would purchase it again.

Got me a new toy.

Okay, I’ll admit to you, as I did to my wife, this is a toy for me. If you are a serious metal dectection buff, this could be a useful tool. For me, it’s a toy and I admit it. I got it mainly because I watch “The Curse of Oak Island”. If you haven’t seen it, the show centers around a group of wealthy businessmen who are spending millions in a search for a fabled treasure that people have been looking for for over 200 years. On different days I think that there never was a treasure, that there was a treasure, but it was found by Samual Ball hundreds of years ago, or that maybe, just maybe, there really is still a treasure. Anyway, they have a metal detection expert who is involved in the search and he uses a device that looks a lot like this one to pinpoint his finds. So of course, I need one. I haven’t found the Oak Island treasure yet, but I can say that it works well. It is claimed to be waterproof and looks like it should be - the battery case has a screw top opening and there are no obvious other openings. The device is simple, just an on/off button and a button to control whether you want a vibration alert, sound, or both. There is a small LED light built in. It comes with a belt holster and a lanyard.

Out pro forms my more expensive big name pin pointers hands down.

Easy to operate, compact and light weight. Used under a house distroyed by hurricane Ivan September 16, 2004; unbelievable what it was able to locate.

Defective unit. Seller immediately refunded and offered replacement.

The power button turned the unit on and would cycle between sound, vibrate or both, but would NOT shut the unit off even if pressed once, if pressed continuously for a length of time and released or by any other means. After many trials, the only way to shut it off was to remove the end cap and battery which makes it unusable especially in wet weather. Otherwise if placed in the holster it would continually buzz and or vibrate. I returned it as defective and the seller refunded the purchase price with no problems and contacted me to offer a new replacement. Bad experience turned good!

MOSUNECE pinpointer detector..

I just got this and so far, I'm impressed. While bench testing[playing around] I discovered there are different settings you can adjust. When you turn it on, it'll beep 3X. If you short press the power button, 1 beep, it'll be on vibrate mode. Short press the power button again,1 beep, and it'll beep and vibrate. I've tested it on several coins, rings, and a few other metals and it's sensitivity is really good. We just went through the winter cyclone here so it'll be a while for some real searching. I feel confident this gem will help me find a target that my ground detector sniffed out. We'll see. Happy hunting everyone.
