Exactly as advertised

I never had to buy a scalpel before. I needed one to remove a small piece of glass in my foot. I'm not a doctor so I was a bit nervous using a scalpel. Handle is well secured to the blade and the blade sharp. I had no trouble delicately slicing away some callous to get to the glass. I did have to cut into some live skin to get to it. The blade was sharp enough that only slight pressure was needed to make an incision. It all went smoothly and I'm happy with the product.
