Nice design, looks good whether there's a few

Nice design, looks good whether there's a few, or a lot, of cables going through. 2" is plenty big for multiple computer cables, and it's much easier to find a 2" hole saw than 2 3/8" as with other grommets.

Arrived safe and sound, but not totally flexible

A bit misleading but will work. I thought the entire grommet wold be flexible and not just the face. Drilling a 2" hole by hand will wobble a bit and the sides being rigid make you have to glue it down so I stays.

Plugs

Really did the job. I used a 2" hole-saw which to drill out the holes. They fit a little loose so I wrapped some black electrical tape around it a couple times and it fit perfectly.

As others stated if you want a snug fit you should drill 1 7/8 but I went ahead and did it at 2" because I don't mind it a littlelose, it when cables and everything is in place it's not going anywhere anyway, if I was worried about it I would just put some liquid nails on it

Excellent product.

Fast shipping. Product perfectly as advertised. Price was right. What else can I say? I'm pleased. As others have reviewed, you would do better drilling a 1-7/8" hole but I drilled with the only thing I had: 2". The grommets fit the 2" hole just fine but a little loose. Two wraps of electrical tape and its now very snug and I don't have to worry about cords pulling it out.

Nice clean way to manage cables through the desktop. These are solid black, no flaws. Opening is stiff enough to stay closed, but flexible enough to get cables and plugs through. The 2" ones I bought are perfect for most computer cables. I did have to shove a little harder to get DVI cable ends thru, but they do fit.

worked great for cord organization on the desk I built. Only complaint is it gets pretty clogged with 4+ full size cords.

Excellent Desk Grommet

I needed to run some cables for electronic components through bookshelves and these were super easy to use and look great. I was worried the hole size may be off from reviews on similar products but this was the perfect fit and slide in easy. Cables pop in and the side flaps don't get in the way at all. I'll try to update this with a photo once i have everything neatly put away and in its spot.

Well made product at a fair price.

Product seems to be well made. For those wondering, the outer circular housing is hard plastic on the sides and around the outer edges at the top. The center flaps of the grommet seem to be a thick and pretty stiff rubber. The outer housing does seem to be a bit smaller than stated (but not drastically smaller). Using a bead of silicon around the grommet solved the problem for me and works for my needs in a permanent install. Will order again should the need arise.

2” is 2”

No problem with the product - just what I was looking for. The issue was I believed another review that recommended a 1 7/8” hole saw versus 2”, I believed it and bought a 1 7/8”; first hole drilled is too small and grommet will not fit. Now need to buy a 2” hole saw and try to redrill first hole. Again product is perfect and 2” is the correct hole size to drill.
