I love this thing
I am a coffee FREAK. I had a percolator years ago and friends would demand that I make them coffee. That coffee maker finally bit the dust and I couldn't find a replacement...until now. I love this thing! I savor the fine coffee that I make with it. It's transcendental. I'm not kidding. I've also given this pot to friends who share with me their passion for great coffee. It's great for the house and also makes a wonderful gift. Great price, easy to clean. Highly recommend.

Fantasic Company
My husband and I both love coffee brewed in a percolator and we missed the taste of it, neither of us had any made that way in over a decade, we settled for drip makers instead, never really enjoying our morning cup of coffee. We decided enough was enough, and I started researching different brands here on amazon, read tons of reviews and most of them seemed thin, with aluminum baskets. While I was looking for and would have preferred one made in the USA, once I read of their humanitarian efforts, and that all of the money goes to end human trafficking, my husband and I were so impressed, we decided to give it a try, and so glad we did. This is an awesome percolator, other than the wood handle and glass knob, it's all made of heavy gauge steel, makes incredible coffee, looks like it will last for years. We eagerly await warm weather, and using it on our camping trips.

Hot, Strong, Flavourful Coffee from a well made pot
I've been using a french press for about two years and it got the job done, but I was unhappy with two things: 1. the coffee got cold quickly and 2. I needed to use a lot of coffee beans to get a strong cup. I owned an electric percolator a few years ago and I remembered that perking created a strong lovely cup of coffee but that old machine eventually started to rust... Yuck! I am thrilled with this Coletti percolator. I was so excited that I purchased a fresh bag of beans for the first time I would use it to really see the kind of flavour the stovetop method would produce. It did not disappoint!! I have a gas stove and it sits nicely on the burner without the wobbling mentioned by some persons with glass stovetops. I really like that the manufacturers included a few coffee filters in the packge so that I can try making coffee with and without the filters before buying a package of filters. The percolator seems very well made, I like the wooden handle that stays cool and the glass top that allows me to see the colour of the coffee as it perks so I know when its ready. I've used it three times now and the coffee is so good that I'm excited to make my coffee at home and it feels great when I know that this tastes even better than the $6 cup available in the local shops.

Great Little Coffee Pot
Looking mostly for a coffee percolator for camping. This one looked perfect. Just brewed the first pot of coffee with it this morning and it worked quite well. My wife and I have very different tastes in coffee and even she liked the results. Honestly, using a percolator is not at all as convenient as a drip or K-cup style maker. On the other hand, the coffee you get is well worth the extra effort. The Bozeman percolator is on the small side. Even at 9 cups it makes about 2 cups of coffee with just a 1/4 cup or so left in the pot. Wife and I each had one cup...but we use large cups. So just keep that in mind. It's all stainless steel construction with a nice wooden handle and glass globe. Seems to be fairly sturdy and well made. Many have complained about a curved bottom on the pot but the one we received is perfectly flat. I brewed the first pot on a glass, electric cooktop (which I despise) and it worked well with no bouncing around. I was pleasantly surprised to find it will also work on our single plate induction cooktop even though it doesn't "pass" the induction cook plate magnet test. The opening of the pot and the inside lip of the lid have some fairly sharp edges. Probably not sharp enough to cut but just something to be aware of. I'll probably take some emory cloth and smooth those edges out a bit eventually. Not that big a deal. You will want to use a more coarsely ground coffee...I used a rather fine ground generic coffee for a drip maker and, even with a filter in the basket, the grounds required filtering again while pouring into my cup. That's not a fault of the coffee maker, though. Just keep in mind the grind is important. Or filter your coffee...no big deal. Can't wait to use this thing at dawn, perc-ing coffee over a camp fire in the Idaho woods with some bacon frying next to it. Yum!

MMMM, that's a good cup of coffee
I have only made 2 pots of coffee so far, but they were so delicious, rich and hearty, it really puts any automatic drip to shame. I have been so bored with our coffee maker. I would drink it because my husband would make it every morning, but would sometimes go out and get another cup from somewhere else because it was just not satisfying me. The flavor became stale after a while, if you know what I mean. We bought the best coffees, all different varieties and they all just started tasting the same. I am so excited about this percolator becuase coffee is a treat again! Very well made, sturdy, would like a better wood handle, but this is worth the money.

Great quality!
Love this! Don’t cheap out and buy a Coleman, it won’t last. As an avid camper, I have used many percolators and this is awesome. I love that the stem is solid inside and because the lid to the grounds cup sits on the lip under the top, it doesn’t tip over! I always make 9 cups. Fill with water to bottom of the holes on spout, put the guts in, add a WET filter (this came with 10 btw) to the grounds cup, add coffee, put the lid on and set to high. Once it boils, turn down the heat to med/low (so it doesn’t boil over and pull grounds through the straw). Let perc for 10-15 minutes. I usually do 15 because I like strong coffee. Works like a charm. Even my hubby can do it!

You'll be singing cowboy camp songs
Making a pot of coffee in this functional piece of history brings back memories of our harrowing and exhausting but exhilarating covered wagon train journey along the Oregon Trail way back in 1858…. Wait…that was another life… This coffee pot is beautiful in its simplicity and quality craftsmanship. It's built like it could withstand 50 years of treks through the Rockies hanging off a saddlebag. It took a few tries to get it right….the right amount of coffee grounds, grind size (coarser), level of heat to percolate (bring just to boil, then turn to very low), time to percolate (3-4 mins), and the right filter (unbleached). Now I find myself, in the early morning kitchen light, mesmerized by the gas flame and the gentle percolating water slowly turning from clear to dark brown, softly singing Eddy Arnold’s “Cattle Call”. The seller was very responsive and accommodating when I asked for more information on the metals used. The only improvement I can suggest is adding a second, larger pot to the product line. My partner and I go through a lot of coffee in the am, and we have to either make two of these pots or brew some Keurig for our second round. You can’t go wrong purchasing this percolator. The sellers are social entrepreneurs, donating 100% of the profits to small non-profits “doing justice in the 10/40 window”. I sleep very well under the stars at night knowing I’m supporting a good cause.

Very happy with this purchase.
I purchased this percolator to replace another highly rated pot that I received for Christmas. The top spot welds on the handle broke on the other brand. I could tell right away that the Coletti Percolator was a far superior product to the one I initially purchased. It seems like it is made with slightly heavier gauge or higher quality steel. The top lid seals very well, and the glass percolator top is a plus. I was looking for a durable pot similar to one that a friend showed me on a deer scouting trip. His is 20+ years old and still working well. I feel like this Coletti percolator will hold up for years to come.
