Output verified with scale
Good evening, I have had this ice maker for a few days now and I must say I am quite pleased with it. I have had many other smaller countertop models that "claimed" to make 48 to 50 lbs per day and upon verifying with a scale found they make at most 1.53 lbs per hour. Still a decent amount but nowhere near the advertised amount. This model claims 99 lbs in 24 hours and has ice thickness settings from -5 to +5 and I have verified the following with a scale. Setting "-5" - Averaged 4.131 lbs per hour; making 99.144 lbs in 24 hours Setting "0" - Averaged 3.731 lbs per hour; making 89.544 lbs in 24 hours Setting "+5" - Averaged 3.12 lbs per hour; making 74.88 lbs in 24 hours I host large RV parties where we continually go through 50 lbs of ice a day keeping two 160 quart coolers full of cold sodas and waters and this ice maker has exceeded my expectations and I would gladly recommend it to anyone with a small business.

Commercial quality but looks great in the house!
Machine was straightforward in hooking it up. The first ice came out very quickly! I will never run out of ice. Perfect for a bar area and we will using it all summer at our bar by the pool. Definitely commercial grade, feel like I got a steal on this one. It is going to be great for filling up coolers as well. No more throwing the wet bags from the liquor store in my car and lugging them home.

Great for home or small business
I own a Crêperie and we sell a LOT of ice-based beverages (smoothies, frappés). This SMALL machine is enough to deliver a HUGE amount of Ice. I was amazed by how small and quiet it is, installation is super easy (I'm not a professional and did it by myself). Operations is quite easy, simple front panel with intuitive controls. I got this running 24h for two weeks now with no problems so far.

Great quality for home or commercial use
This is going to make my home bar the place to be. It took a little bit of prep work to install the waterline to this, After that, the setup was easy. I wanted something that makes a good quantity of ice for those occasions when we have a big group of people visiting and for when I need mass quantities of ice for camping. Obviously for day to day use in an average household this might be a little too much. However, I wanted something that would last 20-30 years and figured a smaller unit wouldn't do that. I'm super happy with the quality of the ice maker and the ice it makes. I will be looking out for other hOmelabs products when I'm in the market for other products.

Wish we had bought it sooner
This product was just as advertised, once we received it we set it up, and after the recommend time turned it on and was making ice in no time. The hardest part was running a drain line since we sat ours up in our garage. Wish we had bought it sooner.

No more buying bags of ice at the store!
I love this machine. It fits right under my bar and I always have ice. I can fill up coolers and it saves me from having to buy it all the time!

Simple and efficient.
From box to making ice in about an hour. I had my valve ready. I did buy the inline filter, installed that, hooked up water and drain lines, powered it on, turn it on, ice started dropping. Very simple, very straight forward. It does drain quite a bit because the I've box is not overly insulated, but it works well.

Let there be ICE!!
This thing is awesome!! Generates a ton of ice and setup is straight forward. You need to connect to to a water supply and drain (attachments included). After it’s hooked up it’s margarita time... for the whole block if needs be.

This ice maker is going to make for a wonderful summer. Boating, camping, even dog water dishes.
Ice maker arrived in great time. The setup was easy. Made the first round of ice in 20 minutes. Less than 8 hours later the storage bin was full. There was a card that said "Don't stress, contact us." So I did. On Sunday afternoon about 4:45 pm. I opened a chat and asked how to change the celsius temperature display to Fahrenheit. Less than three minutes later I followed the easy directions and had the temperature changed. I normally wait longer to enter a review, but I'm really impressed with hOmeLabs and this ice maker. If anything changes I'll let you know.
