Lexivon Warranty is Good

Hex bit set has been helpful with many tasks. I was using M6 hex bit and it broke off. Contacted Lexivon giving them the information required and they shipped me a replacement bit. Good to know they stand behind their product and warranty. Note that serial number requested was not found on the box itself but on the paper package it came in. You should register your product and record the serial number some where as they will want it to process the warranty claim. Seems odd that the serial number is on a disposable paper pack rather than the case that holds the bits.

Made assembly easy buy this!

I had been saying for years that I wish I had a hex set that I could add to my drill or a ratchet. Then this popped up on my radar. In the two weeks I've had it it's been clutch more times than I ever imagined needing it before I ordered. The case is sturdy and feels like it can handle being dropped or thrown in the back of a truck without the pieces going everywhere or being a mess when you open the case. It features secure double locking sliders. The bits themselves feel as sturdy as any tool I've bought from anywhere else and look good. I have no regrets about buying this and consider this a highlight of my tool chest.

Great value set at a value price!

Very good value. I bought it on sale, but even at the normal price, worth every penny. I've used several of the larger bits for removing a transmission bell housing with a 1/2 26" breaker bar, and these didn't blink at it. I've used a couple of the smaller bits on my Jeep and again, no problems with the bits. Like anything in this price class, you need to be realistic in expectations. There's a reason some professional tools will cost more for one bit then this entire set, but for general purpose (and not impact gun abuse) these seem to be a great set at a great price. When in sale, it is an absolute steal!

Very surprised I haven't heard of this company before.

I have been looking for a socketed hex set for a while. I was looking at Home Depot and Lowes here in Texas and either they were out, or I had to wait for slow shipping. I turned to Amazon and these popped up. Had a great price, being a prime member, had quick, extremely quick shipping and when Ingot them, I was floored by the quality of thier construction. I have only used them twice, but if this is any indication of how they will be each time i need them......I would recommend these! Price, quality and shipping! Look forward to finding more products from this company. Hope you all find them as great as I did.

These do the job, without breaking the bank.

I bought the set in advance of having to assemble some woodworking tools I'd ordered. The items came with a bunch of hex keys, but I'd read that having a good socket set of allen / hex wrenches really helped the job and that was the best advice I could have followed. I don't do a lot of heavy torque wrenching with these, so I can't speak about that, but I can say you won't be sorry you got this set. Quite a variety and very versatile.

Great value and nice looking tools

When the hex drivers arrived I was surprised at first by the weight and size of the case. Once opened sockets have high polish hard chrome both SAE, and metric from extremely small to extremely large with varied driver sizes (1/4-3/8-1/2) in one case. I bought this set for working on mountain bikes as I tired of the normal allen sets in a plastic sheath. So I will not subject the set to commercial-industrial working projects. For the price this can't be beat, after shopping ( HD, and Lowes) they sell small 5-6 piece sets for about the same cost.

Awesome

Love the LEXIVON products. I got lots of them use them more on my motorcycle's than any thing else. Few months ago someone stole most of my tools I use on my bikes. Most of those where LEXIVON so back to the purchase of more. You can't go wrong with them, there made of great qualities and I have never had a problem of them breaking. Customer service is also very nice helpful and friendly.

You could spend more buy why?

The fit and finish of these is excellent. You can tell by the weight that they're not cheap like something you might find at HF. Got these on sale for under $20 and they're well worth it to have both metric and standard in one sturdy case. They even have the 5.5mm which most often you won't find in many sets. I would not hesitate to buy again.

a good investment

I ran into a situation where I did not have a hex tool big and strong enough to do what I needed to, found this set and it has worked to do the job I needed done , I do not use hex tools daily however whenever I need one now I have a very good set to work with, very pleased with the set.

Great deal for the money

Bought this set to remove expansion valve in my Nissan. Screws were rusted from a leak and my allen wrench wouldn't break them loose. These sockets did the trick easily and since the 4 mm was in 1/4in drive, it saved me the hassle of disassembling the wipers, trim, and brace above engine compartment as I was able to fit smaller ratchet handle in tight space. Put a bit of torque to handle and saw no damage or wear on socket tip. Would definitely recommend to friend, especially at this price.
