A great value

These are really awesome knives. I awful neuropathy in my hands and the handle on these fit so well, I don’t have any trouble hanging on to them. The blade is a solid piece through the center of the handle, they are nicely balanced and the block is nice.

Unexpected Quality

Never really have we had great luck in purchasing a knife set, until now. This set is of really nice quality in my opinion. For the most part, they came sharp. Honestly though, I knew up front I was going to take them myself from ok sharp to razor sharp, which I did. The knives are very sturdy & beat our expectations, especially from a purchase that was by sight on Amazon only. Tough for me to buy something without touching it, especially knives, but this purchase worked out awesome. We also do NOT put these in the dishwasher, worth it to wash them by hand.

Fantastic Knives

They are extremely sharp and easily handle any cutting task. The first thing we cut was a pineapple. It slid through the husk with no problem whatsoever. It was great. Things that used to be a challenge to cut are now obsolete. They are sturdy yet light. The knives look very stylish on my island in the kitchen. We now look for reasons to use the knives. There are a wide variety of knives. Seems to be one for any food a person would want to cut up. The sharpener is a great addition to the set, now I will never have a dull knife. The knives look great and are very functional. Only negative was there was a lot of packaging to keep it safe during shipping. I was worried I might have missed something. Perhaps put a contents of box somewhere so that people can see they have everything. Also care of knives insert might be nice to have.

High quality Knife set at affordable price

Overall, this is a high-quality set of knives at an affordable price. Inside the package is a note from the creators. One can see that a lot of care went into the knives. Each knife was individually wrapped; the covered in plastic to prevent scratches, the blade covered by cardboard and at the tip of each blade is a small plastic insert to protect the blade from puncturing the shipping material. Real attention to detail in my opinion. The appearance of the knives is stunning! Along with the thickness and sharpness of the blades makes this a truly awesome addition to my kitchen. Additionally, the scissors are what takes this set over the top. Pro’s: -The color of the handles. Even though walnut is the listed type, they have a sight reddish appearance, almost a “cherry” color, which is a fabulous look. -Very Sharp blades. Was able to cut newspaper like butter. Each blade performing flawlessly. -Handle Grip – Well thought out curved shape of the handle that aligns with the hand making them very comfortable to hold. -Heavier than other cutlery sets I’ve used. They don’t bend as easily, making them stronger. They have a solid piece of metal from the tip to the end of the stock, however, they are much thicker, making them even more durable. The steak knife metal is 1/16” thick and the larger items including the scissors are 1/8” thick. -Steak Knives: The serrated cutting edge has wider tip to tip width (1/8th inch); wider than more common steak knives. -The wooden base is wider than other knife sets holders I’ve used, making it a more stable base. The set weighs approx. 10 pounds. -Looking online, other knife sets are easily 300.00 dollars. I think that this is an affordable set where quality was not sacrificed. For approx. $4.21 per item, I am very confident that this set will last a very long time. -The scissors: This is the one item that sets these apart from other cutlery sets. They are approx. 10” long, spring loaded to open and very sharp. They will cut whatever cooking needs one has. I have cut fruit off the tree; my wife has cut chicken and pork bones with them. The blade is extremely long making this item very versatile. It’s like having garden shears for the kitchen. A stunning look and extremely versatile item in the set. -My wife has used some of the knives to carve fruit. The smaller slicing and pairing knives have been useful at carving the layers of skin off a watermelon. Each knife performs its function well. My wife is extremely impressed with these knives. Con’s: -While purchasing, there was one type of wood selection; which is “Walnut”. This is very nice color; however, the Amazon add appears to show a more ‘reddish’ color. The wooden block is truly a walnut color, while the knife handles are all more cherry color in appearance. I prefer the “cherry” appearance and would have liked the entire set to have that color. I suggest that the amazon or other adds show the true color of the block for the color being offered. Notice within the picture of the color variance between the advertisement and the actual items. I would even suggest staining the block with a more reddish tint to match the handles and selling that as a color variant. The steak knives: While they cut great, the individual blade points are a little further apart than other standard steak knives. This causes the cut to be a little less smooth. The meat gets a little more torn while cutting.

Wonderful Design

I like the design of the knives. It is a beautiful set. It’s easier to hold then other knives. I really liked how it was carefully packaged. There were little plastic pieces at the end so you didn’t get cut. The knives are very sharp. We accidentally left a knife in the sink with water in it overnight and it did not rust. I like the way they are designed and how they fit in your hand. They are also sharper than other knives I’ve purchased in the past. I do not like that they aren’t dishwasher safe, but even stuff that says it’s dishwasher safe usually gets ruined for me. I can live without this feature.

Amazing customer service - wow!

I just updated my review because the customer service for this company is seriously amazing. They are sending us new knives and a refund - and now we know how to properly handle these knives even though they are slightly different to dry than our other knives. I’m super impressed with how they handled this. I’m a customer for life, now! ——— I’m super dissappointed. I’ve tried to reach out to the supplier about these knives but have been unable to contact anyone in regards to my issue. I ordered these knives a few weeks ago on August 20th. They look great, and seem to work properly, but they’ve already rusted irreparably, to the point where both sides of the knives are covered. We followed instructions to always handwash, leave out to dry, and never put in the dishwasher. However, these knives are now rusted considerably.. and they no longer seem to be quality made in my opinion. We really liked them at first, but since they rust so easily, I’m not sure I got my money’s worth, so I’m pretty disappointed.

Great value and quality

I’ve owned a couple knife sets (from Zwilling J.A Henckels to Martha Stewart), but this is hands down the best one I’ve purchased. These knives remain sharp even after using several times. I usually only hand wash knives, but my husband occasionally forgets and puts them in the dishwasher. Even after the dishwasher, we didn’t notice any rust spots or any change in the sharpness. Highly recommend these knives! Great performance and price point!

No rust, still sharp after 7 months of use

This is a great set of knives! I previously owned a set of Martha Stewart knives that were AMAZING, never sharpened them once. After 12 yrs they never once dulled, but the seal on several of them started rotting (probably from washing in dishwasher)-so I gave these a go. I couldn't afford Cutco, and the reviews on this set were great, so I took a chance. I absolutely love them. They get the job done. I handwash them to make sure they don't rust, and so far after 7 months no rust whatsoever. Still extremely sharp, have not sharpened yet. They also look so classy on my countertop and I'm 100% happy with this purchase! I looked at Ross, TJMaxx, Walmart....thought these had more appeal than most I saw, and they look expensive. Order these!

Five star customer service and quality

From the unboxing to the set up I was impressed. Each knife was individually wrapped, sheathed, and had a plastic tip protector to ensure the blades stayed pristine and to protect the end user during set up. The package arrived in pristine shape and on time. While unboxing and putting the knives into the block I discovered that I had received 2 of the 8 inch bread knives instead of the 8 inch carving knife. I emailed the company directly and had a genuine response with a resolution in less than 24 hours apologizing for the inconvenience. They really are a hands on company that puts the customer first. The edge on these knives is incredible. They are incredibly sharp and fit well in your hand making quick work of food prep. They are an excellent bargain and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for high quality kitchen knives from a company that stands by their products.
