These saved my plants while on vacation

These things saved my plants while I was out of town for several weeks! They definitely work. The instructions recommend using a push pin to puncture the sides, but I just used scissors and cut the tips off instead. It was faster and easier. Worked just fine. The caps fit most water bottles and are SO easy to use! I love that you can pick the size water bottle. I was even able to use a large glass Perrier bottle. I have around 40 indoor plants and I used to use those glass bulbs, but they take longer to fill and don’t hold as much water. These have made watering easier when I’m home or away. I would definitely buy them again and I would definitely recommend them. :)

Spikes arrived w/o any breakage. I could tell straight away that they are thicker than the previous brand I’d purchased. One of those was broken in shipping. This package includes a mini trowel & shovel. I would buy again and recommend to others

Just what is needed for short vacations.

I like the controlled seepage these spikes provide. They don't do well with gallon plastic bottles. They work better with glass bottles or small plastic bottles.

Useful Summer Tool

I'm using these to water my tomato plants as I go on vacation frequently over the summer. They work well using wine bottles, although I haven't tried out any other kinds of bottles. However, be careful when you put them in the dirt as the material of the cones is somewhat fragile. Don't try to push them into the soil as they may break; instead try and dig a hole and then place it in the hole and pack the soil around it. I plan on placing these in other potted plants around my garden.

I used this watering system indoors during the winter while on vacation. Double up on spikes if you're gone over a month. Very reliable system. Still use to prevent overwatering.

Easy to use. I had to experiment to get the right drip rate for small vs large pots. Make sure you push the drip regulator firmly into the cone or it will leak. Simple way to make sure my plants are watered when I am away.
