Crystal clear

Got this in the mail today and set it up for nap and bedtime. It is SO clear! I couldn't believe it. The sound is great and the fact that I can leave the sound on while still navigating to other things on my phone is a giant plus. I can share the stream with his dad or with his grandma as well so it's nice for them. So far, this has blown my expectations out of the water.

Fits my needs in all areas of concern & an amazing product

So this baby monitor is by far one of the easiest ones I have set up. All you have to do is download the app on your phone to act as the “monitor” part for the camera which makes it perfect for traveling as well. The set up was seamless and very easy to do. They even have holders for the cords to run through when setting up on the crib so that cords are safe and out of reach of your loved one. The connection is great and even works at my dads house which is very large and hard to get signal in with my Motorola baby monitor. It has cry detection which is so nice because it will alert you when they start to cry. It has many other wonderful features as well. I highly recommend this one to anyone looking.

I have a confession to make, I fell victim to the “top selling” “most popular” item on amazon. I bought the......infant optics monitor. Now, had I done my job properly, which I generally do with every tech/gadget/tool/anything I buy, I would have researched properly and found WiFi monitors are the way to go. After a week of issues, I decided to go for the lollipop camera. It arrived this morning, next day - thank you Amazon. So the packaging is slick, like a giant iPhone almost 😁. It neat, sturdy and feels like a quality product. This is stage 1 of the review - initial setup and thoughts, though I will post an update after a few weeks of living with it. The setup via the app was freakishly easy. To get the camera up and running was simple - the settings that you may want to change will require some brain power but it’s no different from any other app. The USB power lead is lonnnngggggg, which is great as having a 1m cable would suck and be pointless. Video quality is a huge step up from the other brand I had, wide angle view and maybe a 2 second max delay. Pan and tilt is not a feature and I was a little worried about this until a saw how much more picture you get with this thing. The bendy arm is great and I’ve attached ours to the pack and play corner with ease. And when the time comes for the little monster to move to his own room, I’ll wall mount it above the crib. So when we originally looked at cameras, we thought why get WiFi, don’t need it on our phones etc etc. BUT after the arrival of our pride and joy, my thoughts have changed. I go back to work next week and being able to look in on the little man eases any negative feelings about leaving my family and going off to work. You may not think that now, but for you men saying “I’ll enjoy going back to work for some peace and quiet” you’re wrong, after 2 weeks with our baby, your heart melts and you WILL want to see him during the day while you’re sat in your office, in your truck, or wherever you are. Stage 1 review done - summary - great initial setup, impressed with video and the app. No issues so far.

Best bang for the buck!

I absolutely love this baby monitor. We recently just transitioned our 2 month old into her own room and have utilized this camera without any trouble. picture quality is so crystal clear in daytime and night. the camera plays multiple options of music and white noise for any amount of time you choose. the sensitivities for crying and cross detection motion ranges are easily adjustable. I like that the camera can be used as a closed system monitor for better safety or from work if I'm missing my baby and want to peek in on nap time. the camera came with multiple mounting options. so easy to set up and operate. 100% recommended and will definitely buy it again for future babies.

Best camera for your money

This monitor is great! Our daughter has a quiet cry and being nervous parents, we we're constantly wondering if she was sleeping ok or crying. With this camera, the picture is so clear! You can also access the cam from somewhere else if the baby is being watched by someone else! Another amazing feature is the built in sounds such as music or white noise. You can also talk to your baby through a microphone. It is really an amazing product and I have not had any problems with it. The peace of mind that we have been given makes this a 5 star product.

Love my baby cam

Great camera. I wanted something modern & simple. I love that I can view and hear on my phone and not have to carry around another screen or monitor. Picture quality is so great that I can zoom in and see that my baby is breathing when she’s asleep. You can add other members to access camera, which is a huge plus. My husband loves that he gets alerts & can church in on our daughter even when he’s not at home. I wish I would’ve bought it sooner. I did have issues with the silicone stick part, but they have great customer service & helped me out right away. Photo I’ve attached is to show photo quality. First day we got it we tested it out to see how it would work before her nap. :)

More than a baby monitor !!

When I was pregnant with my daughter I was looking for a nice - good baby monitor, this one was on my top list but one of my aunts gave us a regular baby monitor as a baby shower gift (which by the way is the same price as this one), yeah it’s an ok monitor but the quality of the image stinks so I came back to the Lollipop baby camera and thank God they were more reviews and photos so I could compare the quality of the image with my current one. I just received my Lollipop camera a couple days ago, shipping was super fast and the packaging is amazing!!! It sound ridiculous but I really had fun opening it, the package only contents three different boxes and the camera, just a few extra pieces and nothing crazy at all, I set it up and Installed it myself (34 year old mother), the app is user friendly as well, I LOOOOVE the music feature, I actually fell asleep the first night I played it so good job Lollipop camera! I also love the fact that if there are any noise reports the camera records 30 seconds and you can go back and even download the video to see what happened... I am only on day two but this camera surpassed all my expectations so I don’t know why this camera has even bad reviews?? I attached some photos of the product and the comparison between this camera and my baby monitor image quality so you can see what I am talking about. PLUS: I can see, hear and talk to my baby when I am at work and also this camera is working as my home security camera since I installed it in our playroom right next to the main front door, I just love it!

Much more than a baby monitor

I have had this monitor for couple days and I keep finding more things that I love about it. The design is sleek and unique. The stick is bendable, twistable and posable making it so easy to place it in so many places. It also comes with an easy use wall mount that you may wrap the stick of the camera around. The picture quality is outstanding especially the night vision. There are so many features and notifications that I have still yet to try them all out. My favorite so far is the audio mode that I will turn on to hear my big kids were in there playing and screaming while I am busy. I'll keep trying all the features and so far we love it. By the way in my house the connection is good so far.

Even better than expected!

The entire experience has been better than expected. The packaging was incredible, and the camera is very well made, along with all of the accessories. I have been using the camera for two weeks now, and I am able to watch my son while he naps and sleeps in his room. I was also able to watch him when we had a sitter last weekend by using the app on my phone, so I felt very confident that he was safe. We are VERY pleased with this camera. It can also be placed in so many different locations, plays music, and has two-way audio!

Not perfect, but the best option for two kids we’ve found

We bought our first Lollipop in May 2017 when our son moved from our room to his own. Now nearly 2 years later his little sister is doing the same and we bought one for her room as well. The ability to watch multiple cameras at the same time is a huge plus and generally works well - I’m not aware of another camera that streams to phones that has this feature. We also really like being able to watch the video from our phones or tablet - both at home and to peek in on them while we’re at work. Downside is that the WiFi reception on the camera is weak - we had to move another WiFi access point closer to the kids room to get a solid signal, and when traveling in areas with a lot of other WiFi (like a big apartment building we stayed at for awhile) all the interference caused them not to work well. But in our house where there isn’t a ton of other WiFi around it has worked fine.
