Good knee brace for running and people with arthritis

I had bought a knee brace for my mom who has arthritis and she said it really helped her. Since she liked it so much, I purchased this for my dad. My dad does not have arthritis, but he is very active and loves to walk and jog a lot. His first impression of this knee brace is very positive. He said it fits very nicely without feeling too tight. He wore it while running this morning. He says his legs feel better while running with the brace on but he is not too sure if he wants to have this on all day long. He will be primarily using it while going for a run. I did notice that the yellow color on the pair I got is slightly different shade (one is more yellowish and the other one is more greenish, see pic). UPDATE : I received a replacement pair from the seller looks and feels better than the previous one. updating it for 5 stars.

I would highly recommend!

I got these for my husband who was off to hike a portion of the Appalachian Trail for a week! He is almost 70 and this was his first long hike. Although he trekked a lot over the past 3 months, we realized too late that he did not prepare for the up and down of mountainous trails! I bought these and he agreed to wear them, even tough he thought he would not need them! HA! After trying a short part of a day without, he realized he Definitely needed them & put them on.. He said they SAVED him and his knees! We had used the chart measurements to order size & they fit perfectly (he had the medium). They were comfy enough for full 8 hour days of hiking + gave the support he needed.They did leave little red ridges on his legs where they began (4" above knee) and ended, but they were gone next morning...we think it maybe because he was in constant rain & moisture may have caused that. But there was no discomfort at all, just the lines that went away!

Excellent basic sleeve

I typically use Rehband sleeves for my weight training. As anyone who uses them knows, they tend to smell eventually. I decided to try something a little less thick, to see if my stability would be ok, and these were only 10 USD, so I gave it a shot. They're working great so far. I typically squat very heavy (~380) in them, and they provide just enough warmth and compression to make me comfortable. Once these "warm up" they do not move very much, and don't bunch up. They wash well so far, and I am hoping they won't end up smelling like other sleeves. If you have a serious knee issue, or are doing massive power lifting, these might not be heavy enough.

Very comfortable!

I needed a knee brace because I started having pain in my knee when I walked, especially when I ran. When I tried them on, they fit nice and snug around my knee. The chart that is provided was extremely helpful, as I thought I would get the wrong size and have to send it back. But it fit perfectly! It even has a non slip design on the inside, so that it will not slide down during a workout session. These braces are even perfect for hiking. Hiking can put stress on the knee, especially hiking uphill. The fact that it doesn't slide no matter the terrain, is so amazing. Less worry about pain and more about exploring. The color scheme is also cool, not a boring design and the material is so soft. After doing a couple workouts with these braces on, I noticed less pain so my workouts can go on for longer. I even noticed that I work out more! I definitely recommend to any one looking for quality knee support!

VERY nice quality and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Top quality and very soft too but seemed a bit tight at the top. I got the medium ones and they were fine around the knee and below the knee but was so tight above the knee I couldn't keep them on for very long. I thought I checked the measurements when I ordered the size but perhaps I misread something but it's just a bit too tight for me above the knee. I have to say I am really impressed with the quality and would not hesitate to purchase these again once I get the right size figured out. When the seller read this review they contacted me immediately and offered a refund which I chose not to take and to keep the pair I have but that kind of customer service deserves the highest rating. Between the customer service and the quality of the product I would not hesitate to purchase from this company at all.

These braces helped when others didn't...

I bought these braces after I injured my knee while running a few weeks ago. I had another brace already that I put on, but it actually made my knee hurt more. It was a brace that has a little hole opening where the knee cap is. I don't know why, but every time I've used that type of brace, it makes the problem worse, so I'm finally getting rid of those. I'm so glad I decided to purchase these though, after 5 days of pain and walking with a cane. As soon as I put these on, I was able to walk a bit, put pressure on my leg, and even bend the knee slightly when I walked. It didn't fix my knee immediately and I still had to be carefully and walk with the cane a bit to keep pressure off it, but the improvement I noticed immediately was significant. I was glad these came in a pair also, because even though I only injured 1 knee, the other was starting to hurt from me leaning on it so much more over the past 5 days so I ended up using both. I followed the chart to pick my size. At 4" above my knee cap it was about 17 1/2" - 18", so I got the Medium and it fits well. The amount of compression is good and they didn't start sliding down after wearing them a long time. I will say that I started to notice after a few days that I think I was wearing them for too many hours at a time. I wore them on the way to work and one day just left them on the whole day, but after a while the compression was too much, so I started taking them off after I got to work and then put them back on for the commute home and that worked better. I saw some other reviewers saying they used them while working out for extra support and to prevent injury. I'm not sure if I'll use them for that, as I did notice once my knee was starting to get better and I was trying to bend my knee a little bit more when walking that the brace made it hard to bend due to the compression. Maybe I'll try it though when I'm good enough to start running again, but either way, these really helped me get through the worst part of my knee injury/pain, so I'm very happy with this purchase. I would recommend you give these a try if you've also had problems with the other types of braces with the hole for the knee cap.

Very good product really good price.

I really like these knee braces. This is my second pair. I use them for hiking/backpacking and cycling. Very comfortable. They stay in place. Compression is just right. Be sure to measure your leg to get the right size before you order. Directions for cleaning are hand wash and air dry. Well, needless to say, I’ve run them through the washer several times than air dried them. They’ve held up surprisingly well for about a year.

Just Order a Pair..It will help

60yrs old, 5 11 250...banged up knees from life of competitive sport and recreation. 2 meniscus surgeries, arthritis and chronic points of pain rest of knee. I wake up with cranky knees more often than not. These knee braces have immediately provided what they needed to provide. Wearing one, and/or two, supports the knee(s)athletically and enable a better health & fitness experience. I have done active yard work, walking , biking and strength training. I am a believer. The material is perfect, range of motion is smooth, lightweight. I am considering getting another pair for golf season just to have a clean pair ready to use. I wear it when I begin, in earnest, the active part of my day and take it off after I stop for the day. I feel good about the prospects for excellent value.

These help my knees so much

I have issues with knee pain, both from working out and my job. At work, I’m constantly running up and down stairs. These support my knees and help with the pain. My wife has washed them in the washing machine and dried them in the dryer and they’re still good as new. No fading, no abnormal stretching out. UPDATE: Still using these almost a year later. Still washing the same and they are still holding true. Great Purchase!

Beware of Fakes

I bought 1 pair of these about 6 months ago. Yesterday I bought 3 more pairs and determined that the 1st pair I bought were fakes. How to tell a fake. 1) No tag on brace 2) Size of brace. Real brace is about 10 1/2” long, 3) Missing sticky wave on inside top of brace that keeps brace from slipping. Photos below have authentic brace on left.
