Great Fit for the common Person

This is a Great fit for the common Person. I am 5'3" 170lbs - yes short guy- I am in between size large and medium and I was afraid Medium would be too small and tight but I followed other customers comments and ordered the medium. to my surprised it fit perfect not skin tight or too lose. it is confortable and yes the sleeves are a bit long but it is part of the design to protect part of your hand from the sun as well. it gives me good protection when spending several hours in the pool in the Florida 100 degree summer day. I will be ordering more of the same different colors. Great buy priced just right!

Best investment of the summer

Best investment of the summer. Wore this in the ocean, in the pool, at the Atlantis Aquaventure resort, on the beach, snorkeling - never had any sunburn, and the shirt is really comfortable, doesn't get hot wearing it, dries nicely, and it looks good. Highly recommend! Also, for sizing, definitely go one size smaller than what you usually wear (I normally wear a Large in all of my shirts, but upon reading some of the other reviews I decided to order a Medium and it fit really well - a Large would clearly have been way too big on me).

Perfect for my needs.

After buying multiple women's rash guard tops that were very tight across the bust and ride up on the midriff, I decided to look at men's. This is perfect for my needs! I'm going snorkeling and kayaking and finally found a rash guard for a girl with, well, "girls" (DD). It's long on me, but I'm short, so I'm not surprised by that and I honestly prefer it. I also could potentially have gone one size smaller. I've worn it for aqua fitness and it isn't so loose it billows up, but it does allow me a full range of motion without feeling like a sausage through the bust.

the fabric is really light and covers really good against UV rays

I bought this in XL for my husband who is a big guy (286lb and 6ft) and I thought it was going to be tight for him. It actually fits well, at least how he wanted it to fit (some what loose but not too much it gets up on the water), the fabric is really light and covers really good against UV rays, also dries up quickly. The sleeves are a little bit long but tolerable. I'm very happy with it, I'm buying another one for my father-in-law...

Looks hot on my husband!

My husband previously used an O'Neal rash guard compression fit. He is 6'4 and 220. He has recently gained about 15 lbs and was self conscious about how the tight fit looked. I was worried that a loose fit would look like he was hiding something, or worse look floppy and still show his love handles. I was totally wrong. He looks hot! So much better than the compression and it doesn't look like he's hiding a thing! We ordered him an XL, he normally wears a TL, but could have done with a L. He is also wearing black, and if you want to hide anything, I highly recommend it.

Very light and comfortable

After reading the reviews, I ordered an XL and it fits well. I usually wear a XXL. As others have reported, the arms are longer then expected by an inch or two, but that's okay. I'm not an active scuba diver as I've gotten owner. But I'm recovering from skin cancer and with the post operation and light therapy, I'm avoiding direct sunlight. So I was looking for a thin long sleeve shirt or jacket to wear. To date, this is the most comfortable for me.

Bought to keep me cool and pasty white when outdoors

Bought to keep me cool and pasty white when outdoors. Allows a breeze to help keep you cool and white color keeps it from absorbing sun heat. Also no greasy feeling arms because I can do without sunscreen. Dries quickly if you go swimming or get sweaty but also useful for a quick dip to use as a evaporative cooling shirt. Arms are nice and long so they don’t ride up my forearms. Loose fitting and easy to reach and twist without looking like I’m swimming in it. Easy to get on and off. Has stood up to harness strapping, hiking through vegetation, and other abrasions without wearing down or ripping at the seams when I pull it off. My only wish is maybe a higher/tighter neck would help keep the face shield tucked down so I don’t expose the back of my neck when it (shield) rides up a little over time. But I haven’t gotten a burn and my neck isn’t any redder for wearing this than it was before.

Well designed and extremely comfortable to wear

My first time buying a swim shirt from a Sports brand and I will never go back again. These are designed for the swimming and it clearly shows Speedo knows what they are doing. The shirt is light weight, soft, and very comfortable to wear. So comfortable that you don't notice that you are wearing a shirt. It keeps you warm when you are wet. It also keeps the sun out nicely — two hr on the beach at noon in FL and no sun burn in my upper body. Unlike my other shirts I own, this clings on to the body when you are in the water instead of swelling up making you feel like a ballon. It runs a bit large and loose. I am 5 ft 8 and 145 lbs. Small is just fine but Medium is too big.

Great for tall guys

My boyfriend is 6'2" and about 210 lbs. I had read it runs big and so I bought the medium, and it fits perfectly - not skin tight, but not so big it would float up. The sleeves are very long though (great for my boyfriend, probably not so great if you're under 6').

Excellent sun protection

Perfect! I read other reviews for sizing and found the sizing down recommendations to be perfect. My husband wore this for our August week-long trip to Grand Cayman, where the sun was hot and strong. It protected his shoulders and torso beautifully. No sunsburns! And it was comfortable enough to transition from swimming, snorkeling, beach play, etc. without any discomfort. I'd highly recommend for anyone seeking strong sun protection.
