The sensor reheat feature is astonishing. I had no idea microwaving could get any easier. 03/24/18 update: still love this microwave.

Good microwave

Replaced my old microwave that stopped heating. What a difference. I should have replaced a year ago. Heats food quickly and evenly. I also love the kitchen timer. I wish it had a button to pop the door open but that's a personal preference and doesn't change how much I Iike this microwave. I also wish the inside wasn't so dark but again a personal preference. I've only used it to heat frozen meals and reheat leftovers so I cannot review the roasting rack.

Works well

Really like the soft close door, with handle! Only complaint is the control panel is smaller than what I was using, a little difficult to read some of the small icons. I would definitely buy this unit again!

It is a great microwave

A sleeper microwave.

Buy this microwave ( 1.2 cu ft) for the combination grill function capabilities. Spend a little time and effort and learn how to use it. You will be rewarded. The last time any company provided such a versatile microwave was way back in the 1980's when GE made the SpaceMaker II (or something named similar) with a grill/ microwave function. In this today "dumbed down world" this product may not be around long because people just don't get it. I do... hope it last longer than me!

Wife Loves It!

This was a gift for my wife for Christmas and its exactly what she wanted. I spent a few hours looking at mid-sized microwaves on Amazon.com. The time was consumed by reading the most current reviews. And since I don't know squat about microwaves my only option was to read "verified buyers" reviews on all the different models, makes, and brands of mid-sized microwaves. I narrowed it down to three based on the options that past reviewers liked that matched what I liked. Hopefully this will help the lost microwave buyer out there in Amazon land and save you the precious hours I spent on here looking and reading. First, I wanted what I call a mid size, 1.2 - 1.3 Cubic feet. Second, 1000 - 1100 watts. Third, an interior light. Fourth, a door handle rather than a door button that you push to open. Fifth, black exterior color. Sixth, it has the Smart Sensor. So, I narrowed my list down when I discovered by reading reviews some of the options that I would want too. Like an interior light for instance. You'd be amazed how many don't have lights inside. This whole process was time consuming as well, researching which of these mid-size microwaves had the options I wanted AND had the highest review ratings? I wrote down the top three makes that I liked which had the highest 5 star ratings. Two of the three microwaves I had listed were made by Farberware. (We don't own anything by Farberware. However, my mom owns a set of their pots and pans that she loves). My top three picks were very similar in options and size. This Farberware FMO13AHTBSE was Black Stainless and that was different plus it had at the time, 12/1/17, the highest five star rating and a very high four star rating. Combined the 4&5 ratings were like 92. For some reason the combined 4&5 star rating is like at 80. The whole research of reviews was crazy because some reviews under this particular microwave https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N5YALU9?ref=emc_b_5_t were for different Farberware models. Anyway, I pulled the trigger on it. The black stainless is awesome! Coincidentally, our little 900 watt microwave stopped working cold turkey on 12/23/17. The wife wanted to go out and buy one right away for preparing the Christmas Day dinner but I already had this one wrapped in Christmas paper ready to give to her on Christmas morning. I had to think up an excuse quick. And I did, lol. She was amazed to hear how I had this one already since December 1st. In closing, she loves the higher wattage and everything about this Farberware model.Farberware Black FMO13AHTBSE 1.3-Cubic-Foot 1100-Watt Microwave Oven with Smart Sensor Cooking, Stainless Steel. She is completely satisfied with it. I wish a few of the operating buttons were larger but that doesn't bother her. My hope is that it will provide years of good service to us. Really Like It So Far

I was afraid to buy this because of the not so good reviews, but, the comsumer report has this model as the very top of the line for performance and ease of use. There is always going to be a lemon here and there and those people who get those products are the first to go and right a negative review. However, I've had my oven in operation for a few days, and so far it's great. I'm still figuring out the settings. The only complaint is, I wish it had more buttons to push for regular stuff, like dinner plate, or coffee. That would make it way easier as that's what myself and most others use their microwaves for. Because mine doesn't set up high so as to read the display at eye level, I have to bend down to read the display and use my magnifying glass to see at the very bottom, (I'm old). I don't like doing that, so I'm hoping to learn it fast so I can just touch a button and we're off. I'll get there, I promise. I like the way it looks as all my appliances are black, and this is black and silver. It's very quite by the way, don't know what others are talking about it being noisy, they must have their hearing aids up too high. If it starts malfunctioning in the near future, I'll rewrite this, but for now, I give it a 5 star overall, and 4 for ease of use.

Great machine, very powerful!

This microwave looks amazing and heats incredibly fast. I've had to warn family and friends to not overdo it and boil their food - 1300 watts is no joke! This microwave fit our needs ideally as our kitchen doesn't have a built in microwave, so we needed a countertop unit that could handle all the kitchen's various demands. This gets it done, from thawing frozen chicken to rehearing my coffee. And it looks fantastic too - Brilliant microwave.

Works as expected.

First one came with the door glass shattered. Its box showed no damage; the box it was shipped in showed no damage. The replacement came and works with no issues. There is one issue though: the manual lacks useful instructions, especially on the convection function.
