Big Buckets

The buckets are larger than I expected, about coffee cup sized. I bought this to put over rain barrels, so I got one and cut it in half. Thankfully, there were an even number of buckets, which I had not considered. They are a bit short, but functional enough.

Great looking problem solver.

We’ve got this little bit of roof extending beyond the rest, covering the 5 steps leading to our front door. It’s not very wide, maybe 8 feet. A standard gutter down-tube would look ridiculous, since there’s no side of the house to run it along. This product works well, looks great in this application, and is unique. It’s well constructed, and arrived promptly. Excellent transaction.

Bucket and buckets of rain!

The bucket look fit perfectly with our ranch. They feel very heavy duty and look great. We bought one for each downspout and linked two together for a second story downspout. They are easy to add to or remove and channel the water quite well.

Great Quality and Price!

I searched a lot for rainchains/mini buckets just like these (I bought 2). These are of higher quality than most and I believe they will last a long time. They are made from real solid copper. They develop a nice patina after a few rains. The nice thing is that you can get exactly the look you want. When they arrive, they look very shiny and coppery. If that's the look you like, then spray them with some clear coat and they'll look that way forever. If you want some patina, let them age through a few rains and then clear coat them when they get the patina you want. I would highly recommend these. They look really nice. As an added bonus, they look AWESOME when they get some icicles on them!!

Top Notch Rain Chain

Purchased this rain chain a couple of weeks ago. Similar to another one that I purchased at a local nursery a couple of years ago but this one is of better workmanship. The quality of this chain is excellent and the cup sizes are large which minimizes splash. The chain is sturdy (unlike the nursery purchased one) and is quite beautiful in appearance. Shipping was quick and installation easy. My only gripe is one that goes with rain chains in general: would like it if there was a 10 foot selection or an option to buy additional 1ft increments for when 8ft isn't enough. Would totally buy from this retailer again. Excellent value and product quality.

Cool water feature that serves a purpose!

It took me a little while to write this review because I wanted to really see the results during the rain. We have recently added a new roof and patio to the back of our home and the roof extended away from the house so we we're looking for an alternative gutter/downspout, so we didn't have to stare at a boring old piece of aluminum. Rain chains are super cute! My husband and I like more of a traditional/modern style. We looked at over 50 different rain chains and came across this one. The buckets are too cool. We now have a water feature that acts just like a downspout. For major downpours, I do recommend getting some type of metal/bowl or bucket that you place on the ground under it for additional displacement of the water, otherwise it will leave a mess. Some catch the water in a bucket and reuse it to water later. We currently don't have anything under ours yet, but we need to get something. Otherwise it will eventually destroy our patio blocks. We've gotten a lot of compliments on this piece so far. I'd recommend a rain chain to anyone looking for something different.

U-nitt Copper Rain Chain

The design idea for a rain chain came first. Then the search for an appropriate one at a reasonable price. Warehouse Deals solved both problems. It is up and working, but I have not observed it in action yet. The quality of it will be seen in time,The metal seems a little light gauge but more than adequate for the task. I suspect the ornaments to be solid copper and the chain copper plated but I could be wrong. Still well worth the price.

Love our rain chains!

Product shipped very quickly! We purchased two rain chains for the house we are building. I put one on each side of the front porch step and walkway. We get so many compliments! They look so much better then a traditional downspout. We are very happy so far. It is heavy rain season where I live right now so I have seen these chains in action, a lot. There is a little splatter like I had read about before purchasing but they still work great! The only issue (for us and it’s not really an issue) is that the 8.5’ length is about a foot too short for where we hung ours. I know that we can purchase another rain chain and add buckets as needed to our existing ones but I didn’t want to buy another 8.5’ chain to only use 2’ of it. So instead I got creative and used really heavy weight fishing line to secure the chains to catch basins immediately below the chains. Now they don’t blow all around in the wind. And we will be able to hide the gap from the ground to the bottom of the chains once we put in the landscaping. Very happy so far and compliments keep coming!

Superb quality, great style, cool rain sound!

Superb quality, looks great, sounds great! A lot of other rain chains look and feel flimsy. I have little doubt this rain chain will last a long time. You can tell how superior the quality of this chain is compared to others. Everyone comments how cool it looks making it a great feature piece on our deck. As a bonus, we love the sounds the chain makes as rain runs through it. This chain is everything we hoped for and more.
