Very good beginning instrument

I wanted my kids (3 and 6) to start playing some sort of instruments, just to get some sense of music. But it seemed most instruments were too big and too complicated for them. My friend recommended Ukulele so I thought I'd give it a try. It turned out to be great. Just the right size for both of my kids, and it's pretty easy to learn. They are not very good at it yet, but they enjoy playing it, that's for sure. I'm happy with the quality of this Ukulele, and it looks beautiful. I would say this is a very good beginning instrument for kids.

This was my daughter's first big purchase with her hard earned money. She is SO excited to have her very own, REAL instrument. She LOVES that it is pink-her favorite color. She also loves that it came with so many extras. The fact that she can tune it herself with the digital tuner, and that it has a strap, case, a pick, and extra strings. It sounds beautiful, and she's very excited to learn some of the songs that came in the included songbook. :) What a great deal for her. As a parent, I felt good having her purchase this kit. Thank you for making it a great experience. :) If I had one complaint, the case is a very thin case with no padded protection. I would have liked it to be thicker so it was more durable and more protective. :)

Good Quality product

Affordable, great starter kit!

I decided at the age of 42 to teach myself to play the ukulele. This is a great starter set, it is inexpensive and comes with pretty much anything you need. Although I don't use the case or the book it comes with (I prefer to watch YouTube videos), I do love that it comes with the tuner as I do have to tune it often (especially right after you get it-I am finding that the more I play it, the less I have to tune it). This is a great purchase for anyone wanting to try out the ukulele!

Bought it for my son who is interested in ukulele recently. It's delivery in an extremely huge box. LOL! But the instrument was safely packed without any damage. My son loves blue color very much. I was amazed that the color is similar to the listing pictures. This ukulele was mad of high quality materials, and the strings' feel smooth on my hand. Look at the cute little tuner! It is the right size for this ukulele. Value added set! Recommend. Suggestion: If it came with a blue pick in this set, that would be perfect.

My daughter loves this thing! She's having some trouble actually making music but is having a blast trying! My expertise on ukulele's is non-existent but it seems to me that it is built well nice material and feels nice in your hands. I am very pleased with my purchase. The only trouble we had was figuring out where the tuner was actually suppose to go. After a little You Tube search we were good to go! Like I said I am by no means a expert but for my teenage daughter it is perfect and she's having a lot of fun with it! Looks good and feels nice and came with a few accessories. I think I got a great value. I would make this purchase again if she ever learns to play and can teach me!

Great starter & bundle package for the price

I bought this for my son as a gift. He wanted a ukulele for his birthday. I got him the mahogany color and it looks great! Looks like a little guitar. I don't know much about ukuleles, but this was great for the price and what it included. I didn't want to spend too much and not sure if he will even use it. It's been about a month and he loves it. He plays with it every day and learns songs off of youtube. Since I bought it as a gift, I can't rate on anything but what I experienced. My son has not complained about it and it sounds great when he plays it. When he first got it, he had difficulty tuning it. He wasn't sure if he was tuning it right, but this was his first string instrument. He got the hang of it really quick by watching youtube videos.

My wife and I are guitar players，we have been looking for a right Soprano Ukulele for my son who has a deep interest in music, especially the string instrument. So, I bought this. He is very happy with this. Now, he has started the journey of learning ukulele. The wood used for the whole body is high quality and it is not a toy ukulele, it is an instrument which is suitable for the starter. The blackwood fingerboard and bridge looks so cool and like my professional guitar. The workmanship is fine. It is smooth to touch and the finishing is very neat. Great beginner's Ukulele kit

Purchased this ukulele kit for my daughter's birthday (a ukulele was at the top of the list). It arrived on time and exactly as described. I've never played a string instrument before so I cannot comment on the quality levels of this instrument. However, with a little youtube instruction the kid is able to play a few tunes, tune the instrument with the provided tuner, and play these tunes without burning my ears. She absolutely loves it an carries the thing with her everywhere. The sound of the instrument is as expected, and know that it isn't that of a high quality instrument- but she is a beginner. If she decided in a couple weeks she was no longer interested, I would already feel it was money well spent and would re-gift/share with someone else. It's absolutely perfect.

Great beginner kit

I used to play guitar when I was younger, so when my daughter asked for a ukulele, I jumped on this ukulele during a Lightning Deal. It is easier to tune than my guitar used to be. The tuner works really well and is easy for kids new to tuning to understand. The booklet is a good starting book. It uses a finger notation, which can be easier for learners to pick up on their own. It also has a listing of chords in the back, for learners that would rather explore without playing the sample songs. It is small, so those that are more familiar with other instruments may want to pick up something additional to also use. The pink version is pictured well. It is a bright pink, as is the carrying bag. I haven’t had to restring it yet, but I’m glad to have a spare on hand for the inevitable. As others have noted, the packing in the box was excellent.
