- 【OEM O-RING】You are probably experiencing a power steering whine in cold temps < 60F, which goes away as the engine compartment gets warm. The culprit is the o-ring on the PS pump inlet pipe. The o-ring has become glazed & lost it's original elasticity so it's contracting more than spec and allowing air to enter the pump when the temps drop. The fix is simple, replace the o-ring.
- 【EASY TO REPLACE】Stuff some rags under the power steering pump, remove the hose on the front side of the pump (towards the bumper.) Remove the single 10mm bolt directly below the hose nipple. Give it a tug and the nipple will be separated from the pump. The old O-ring is stuck in the pump but it can be removed with a screwdriver and clean up the surface with a rag.
- 【SAVE YOUR MONEY】If you have a leaking power steering pump, don't just replace your pump. These orings are more than likely the fix!! Buy this to fix that problem instead of wasting hundreds of dollars on another pump!!

Wow cost vs repair results? AMAZING
Got these in one day for my 07 Honda van that was making an AWFUL power steering whine. My son in law is a shade tree mechanic, and apparently there are a bazillion videos online about this exact problem, and the fix is to replace these o-rings. First, they were delivered in a day when Prime two day was expected, so it was nice to have them in advance of the work so I could see them. Secondly, they are TINY. I mean little, like those little rubber bands you use for partial hair braids for little girls. Pinky-tip sized. Size in this case doesn’t matter, because they are a perfect fit, and fixed the problem easy peasy, when here I was freaking out that I ‘d have to replace the whole pump. Nope! $5 and some elbow grease and my van is purring quietly once again.

Correct products received. Problem solved.
Bought this kit to fix my moaning power steering pump on my 2003-2007 Accord because it was cheap. Recieved in just a couple days. Swapped the o rings in about 5 minutes and bada bing bada boom. It's like a brand new power steering pump. Perfect. A++

Dint complain it’s too small, for a car it’s not meant to fit. Read what it fits carefully
What can I say? It’s a oring, and it did it’s job. You can get it cheaper, but when your only means of transportation needs this oring, being able to have 1 day delivery with prime was worth it. Just make sure to READ THE COMPATIBLE VEHICLES CAREFULLY. People comparing that it’s too small, if you notice the cars they are saying it doesn’t fit, aren’t in the list of cars that it is meant to fit. It worked perfectly on my 2004 Honda Accord.

Perfect! Saved over $200 just in parts
THANK YOU!! It took fifteen minutes to change out...the previous mechanic installed the wrong ones so I had to look up which went where, but they have been perfect from the moment installed. It's been over a week and the temp in the mid to low teens...this is when it USED to squeal the most! No more noise and no more frothing fluid!. Whew!!!

I had to do research
Before you replace the power steering pump, replace the rings. This might save you a lot of money. My problem was air in the lines due to faulty rings. Replaced the rings, problem solved. No more noise!!!

Fixed noise coming from power steering pump.
I thought I needed a new rack and pinion since the car was squealing when you turned the steering wheel. Turns out that this $10 o-ring solved the problem. Very easy to install. Took about 5 minutes.
