The key to this camera is to have good cell service where the camera is stationed. if you dont have service where you hunt you might want to get a regular teail camera and not a cellular camera. The camera is very good, the pics on the sd card are crisp and clear, the pics sent to my phone not as good but good enough to tell what your looking at , to count points and so on. Beats going up every couple of weeks to check your camera and spooking game in the process. The app for the camera not as good as I had hoped. It has some glitches but after using it over the past few months I found a way to work around the glitches The battery life is very good if you set your camera to send pictures once a week. If you set it on instant transfer every time it takes a picture it kills your batteries quick. I had it set on instant and in 6 days my batteries were down to 60% weeks my normal alkaline batteries. I changed it to once a day and 2 weeks later the batteries were down to 50%. So once a day it would send me all the pics it took that day. So it sends one text instead of 50 saving battery life. I switched to Energizer lithium ultra and have had it on instant now for a week and still at 99 percent. So good batteries are a must. Overall I'm very pleased with my camera and will be buying more.

Set up was very simple, clear instructions provided. Some reviews I read had me a little leery about picture quality but I have no complaints. This camera provided very good picture quality. I wasn’t clear how it worked exactly but the camera is set up to send pictures to an app on your smart phone. You get 30 days of unlimited photos sent to the app for free, after 30 days you can use the 100 pic/ month option for free or choose a plan that ranges from 250 pic/ month for $4 a month, 1000 pic/ month for $7 a month or unlimited pics for $10 a month. You pay for your plan through the app, you don’t have to purchase coverage from your cell phone provider (that’s what was so confusing to me.)

Finally had time to get my Micro out into the woods last week! after unboxing this unit i was in total shock at the ease of set up and the compact size! High quality at an affordable price!!!! Great pictures, fast trigger speed with an app that supports and sorts all your pictures.

Great little camera. Pics through cellular aren’t crystal clear but for the price this camera is sweet. And only $10 a month for a year if you pay 12 months at a time!

I've had a few cell cameras over the past few years. Not a single one was as easy to set up and definitely werent even close to the price point as this one. Mines been very dependable and finds signal well. I will definitely be purchasing more!

I am using this camera in a very low service area. Often only 1 or 2 bars. I found that if you want it to transmit in this environment, you have to chose the transmit at every detection option. If you go on a transmit schedule, and there is no signal at that exact moment, it will just store the pic and it could be days before you get lucky and have signal when it tries to transmit. This really sucks down the AA batteries. At this setting they will only last me about 3-5 days. I bought an adapter cord and hooked up to a large 12V external battery. There were no instructions, but I figured I shouldn't put AA's in and use the external at the same time. I think that's the problem one of the other reviewers is having. It confuses the camera. Just empty the internal battery tray and put it back in empty. The camera is working great now, but the resolution of the pics it transmits is not great. You need to place this camera a bit closer to your subjects than you would with non-cellular game cams. Its been a 2 month learning curve but I think it is all lined out now. Can't beat the price, even with the external battery option. I can't speak to the long term performance, but will update if it fails in the future.

This camera was priced right for a newcomer. I had an older trail cam with standard SD card only image storage but I wanted one with cell tower connect, so I considered the reviews and went for it. It was pretty easy to set up including registering for the SIM card connection, and was working in 15 minutes. They warn you that setting it for immediate upload of pics will use the battery up quickly, but there is a settings menu in the phone app to check the signal and battery levels so you can decide which is working best for you. Using it for tracking game, you may be okay with once or twice a day uploads (the images are stored on the SC card first) but if you are using it for security the instant upload is what you want. It took more than 160 pics in 3 weeks and the 4 AA batteries are still at about 80%. There are solar powering adapters available to buy also. Avoid aiming at at areas where shadows will move with the wind, as even on Low sensitivity it was snapping pics. I needed it to back up existing wifi security cameras in case of a power or internet loss while away on vacation, but now that I am home I will move it to a place on my property where critters have been making use of a trail. You get a free month of the paid subscription level ($10 a month), and after that you get the free default level of 100 pics a month.

I had good luck with another SPYPOINT camera so I tried this one as well. I had to for the price point. Let me first say, this is not the high-end camera some of the other SPYPOINT cameras are. This is entry-level (the price tag should tell you that), but for a cellular camera, you're still getting a lot for the money. The lack of video mode doesn't affect me because I rarely use it anyway, and never on my cell cams. Like my other SPYPOINT cams, the setup is easy, only taking a couple minutes. Their app is super simple to use as well. All the camera settings are managed from that, and it's really easy. I'll be adding several of these to my camera stable this year.

It took about 4 minutes to set up I read a review that said the picture quality wasn’t good I don’t agree I run 8 cameras on my hunting lease for the price this is very good

After upgrading the camera firmware the camera still didn’t work I called support and there response is it takes up to 12 hours for the cellular to turn on bu the next morning the camera was up and working. Testing and playing with the camera I had it set to send pictures each detection it killed the battery’s in 1 day if you set it to send pictures 1 or twice a day the batteries will last much longer. For the price and if you only want pictures this is a great deal for the money. I haven’t been able to put the camera out in the woods because it has been raining everyday but I will as soon as things dry out soon. I will add pictures when I get the camera out in the Everglades. P.S the app works great and very helpful learning the setup.
