Good "Powered" USB3 Hub -- Not Junk

I've got several USB hubs, some powered, and many are poorly made junk. This one is good. The included power supply is decent (not some Chinese "House Burner" PoS) and the hub works fine. I'm using it on my Mac Pro to take the keyboard and mouse into the USB2 front port of the Mac Pro and it works without problems. I use this method so that if I touch my mouse and discharge a static burst it won't wipe out and damage my internal Mac Pro USB ports. Like this unit so much that I bought a second which I'll take along with my MacPro Book as a portable USB3 hub. The hub itself is plastic but well made. Both the USB3 hub and the power supply are fairly light so they are easy to carry with other gear in the MacBook Pro carry bag. The USB cable that connects this hub to your laptop or PC is only about 1 ft long but thick and is of high quality. It is permanently attached to the hub unit -- a good thing, as it makes for a solid USB connection to the hub. It you want more distance between this USB3 hub and your PC then you'll want to buy a good USB extension cable. I've use this well made USB extension (6 ft) with no problems: "OKRAY 2 Pack USB 3.0 Extension Cable 6 Ft Nylon Braided USB Cable Extender - Type A Male to Female with Gold-Plated Metal Connector". After buying way too many USB hubs that failed and were poorly designed, this one is a "keeper".

This product works just great! It does not have any of the problems described in more expensive hubs. It logs off after you don't use your computer for the time set but loads instantly when your password is entered. I highly recomend this product!

Great usb 3.0 hub

compact and light wieght dor easy travel, and dunctions fine wtih usb 3.0 devices, the charging port works good for charging external batteries and phones. I would recommend this as a good usb hub to get.

Best USB adapter.

Great product. Solid constructions and stable connection. I plug it to my laptop since Friday and had no connectivity issues at all. I deffenetly recommend it.

Good USB 3.0 Hub: Portable and with Charging Port

This is a lightweight USB 3.0 hub that I can put in my laptop bag without adding much weight to it. It's nice that each USB 3.0 port has its own power switch. As mentioned in the description above, you need to press and hold the power switch to turn the port off. My USB 3.0 external hard drive does function at the expected speed using this hub.

Great for travel!

This works great and easy to take when I travel. Purchased for my Surface Pro as it only has 1 USB port and this fixed that issue!

Easy to set up and use.

Just what I needed. It is as simple as plugging in turn electrical outlet or you can plug it into the USB slot. I bought this to use with the Wii game system. We currently have four controllers that you insert a rechargeable battery backing into and keep them on charge. It's charging pack requires a USB charger. The Wii only allows for one USB charger console because we have a removable hard drive attached to it. This also comes in handy for charging the spare Nintendo switch console controllers. I love that it has a 2.4 amp fast charging slot. I can throw my phone to charge while I'm playing a game with my kids. Easy touch on and off button for each individual USB charging port with an indicator light is helpful to save electricity. There is also a quick start guide to show you how to set it up. If you are in need of extra USB charging ports I recommend this device it works great.

Cheap price great product! Cord is a little short but it’s made for travel so really can’t complain Can ran of usb power or a wall plugin which is great for travel or more permanent place Only reason I gave it a 4/5 on material is it feels light (plastic) so not sure how well it will hold up over time but so far so good
