Keep your Osmo Pocket from being damaged.

The Skyreat is a great addition to my Osmo Pocket. I found that using the Osmo Pocket and my iPhone X was difficult and it put a slight strain on the connector between the Osmo and the iPhone. The Skyreat takes all that worry away from the Osmo and iPhone being damaged. It's extremely sturdy and it allows me the flexibility to move the Osmo and iPhone in all directions without the worry of either unit falling or damaging the connector. I looked at several similar products but they seemed cheap and not reliable. When I received my Skyreat I was surprised how sturdy it is and the materials used to manufacture it. It looks and feels like the Cadilac of other similar products. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this item. If I owned the company I'd offer a money back guarantee knowing I'd never have to pay anyone because my product is just that good!

Very Pleased. Better than I expected.

This arrived today and I am very pleased. Build and quality better than I expected for an item in this price range. I had ordered another brand and it never arrived. So cancelled that order and got a refund. This was filled by Amazon, no shipping costs with PRIME, and arrived the next day. Fantastic. PROS: Phone and Osmo Pocket fit together well. Snug and not loose. Doesn't wiggle or move. Osmo fits into a holder that has a silicone or rubber inside so no scratches. No issues with Osmo Pocket recognizing phone attachment or losing connection which was the reason I got this thing. Fact that handle opens to be a small tripod is nice. Realized after I recieved this that handle unscrews and you can attach a selfie stick. So I ordered an adapter that I found on Amazon and a nice selfie stick today as well. Also has an adaptor on top for a microphone or a light. Shopping for those now. CONS: Not much. Inserting and removing the phone is a bit awkward. The phone holder is spring loaded so you have to lift it up and insert the phone and connect to the Osmo Pocket Adapter. Taking it out was actually a bit harder as I was worried about damaging adapter or phone USB port. Maybe it takes more practice. UPDATE SINCE ORIGINAL POST: Have kind of figured out putting the phone and Osmo Pocket together and taking apart again. Just takes a little trial and error. The handle section and phone holder are solid aluminum. The Osmo Pocket holder is plastic. So it flexes a bit. This is a negative and needs fixing. Still love the product. Hoping they offer an upgrade piece or some kind of flat support piece that will it underneath.

Excellent portable set up. Great quality

Great set up for Osmo pocket that allows substantial support for the phone and Osmo while connected. The additional tripod attachment allows for balanced 1 handed movement and obviously stability when opened and placed down. This is an excellent addition to anyone wanting to get smooth footage while having access to all the functions of the Mimo app. The only negative is there is 1 side of the osmo holder that doesmt have a rubberized texture to prevent scratches so I added a bit of tape. Worth the money for sure.

Exactly what I was looking for!

If you are looking for a phone holder/tripod for your Osmo Pocket, stop searching and order this one! You won't be disappointed. Upon opening it, I immediately knew it was made from very high quality materials. The phone holder springs are a tad tight, but this is by no means a deal breaker. A few other reviews on here mentioned that the phone connector does not line up properly. I did not have that issue. Everything lines up and fits great. I love the fact that it includes a tripod that doubles as a holder.

Works great

I like the versatility of this. You can hold it in your hand, use as a tripod or even use with selfie stick. Since I am not very steady handed, the tripod was my preference. My son is into YouTube and this worked great for him as well. Iiked the construction as well. Well worth the price.

Very sturdy and well designed

I previously purchased a Skyreat product for my drone to mount my iPhone on the controller and I was very impressed. This product to clamp my iPhone to my DJI OSMO Pocket is also a very impressive product. The DJI OSMO Pocket allows a smart phone to be attached via the Lightning connector BUT I have a case on my iPhone. I purchased a short Lightning adapter so I would not have to remove the case but that makes the mechanical connection between the two devices not totally stable. This holder solves the problem. It clamps the iPhone and allows adjustable alignment to the OSMO Pocket to provide a perfectly aligned and very stable connection. It should work fine with just about any case on your smartphone (with proper adapter to extend the plug) or your phone without any case. In addition to being just a mounting bracket it provides a "handle" that allows a easy grip to the iPhone and OSMO Pocket during a video shoot. Then as a bonus the grip unfolds and turns into a small table top tripod. As usual their engineers thought about the problems that might happen and the legs unfold to a wide angle that is necessary to provide good balance if your smartphone is a large format device. The feel of the unit when assembled with my iPhone XS and OSMO Pocket is very sturdy. I would not be afraid to use it in a shoot where I had to move quickly or run and not be worried my phone would fall out of the bracket. Based on my two Skyreat products it appears they carefully engineer durability and ease of use into some innovative designs. Clearly they work to understand the problem they are trying to solve and provide elegant and well though out solutions. Highly recommended.

Works Well

There are not a lot of products and reviews for Osmo Pocket accessories. I was a little skeptical buying this. However, it has worked great. It is much easier to use the Osmo Pocket and your phone with this device. I love the Osmo Pocket but do not like the way they have it connecting to your phone. This makes it much easier.

Well built phone holder but compatible with Pixel 3xl for the osmo mount.

This product didn't work for me with the Osmo mount, but as a Phone holder it is excellent. I have a pixel 3 xl phone that is in an otter box case. With the pixel 3xl the only place to mount the phone holder is above the squeeze point for activating assistant and that doesn't give enough space between the phone and the mount to have the mount facing straight forward.. The only other spot that you could mount it would cover the phone camera. As a phone holder.. The tripod is sturdy and not to heavy to carry. The spring loaded phone holder holds my heavy phone very well and it is easy to get in and out, but at 3.5 inches it is at the outer limit of what can be held in a case. I will keep the product for the phone holder which i will use quite frequently.

A Pleasant Surprise!

I have to admit, when I received this handle I was prepared to be disappointed, based on other reviews I’ve read. To the contrary, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The Skyreat phone handle is a solid, well built unit well worth the price, especially when compared to the less expensive, plastic unit that I’ve tried. It holds everything snug, secure and most importantly, connected. The handle/tripod piece includes rubber feet for stability and is easily adjustable to your liking. If you prefer, you can unscrew the handle and hold your phone in your hand or mount it on a selfie stick with a standard 1/4 inch attachment. And with the handle removed, it takes up much less space than other one-piece units (first photo). Finally, although I’ve read a few complaints about the tightness of the OSMO Pocket in the clamp, I prefer it to be a little snug so it stays connected to the phone, so I find this attribute to be a plus. Once you make note of where the OSMO Pocket fits best in the clamp to align with the phone connector, it’s a cinch after that. Overall, I really like the Skyreat Phone Handle and will use it often. Highly recommend. (BTW, the iPhone case shown in the pictures is a Mophie Hold Force Base Case (Amazon), which allows the iPhone to connect to the OSMO Pocket without removing the case or using an extension.)

Nice designed product does the job for me, it feels really good in the hands!

Nice product well made phone holder is ABS plastic, tripod is aluminum w/ rubber feet’s. I have a Galaxy S9+ grips onto my phone nice & tight not afraid of it falling off. Been using it for a few days it’s really helpful at night need to look at my phone screen so I can keep Osmo Pocket under ISO 800 otherwise video has too much noise.
