This is a very nice sewing kit!

I had a large sewing kit in a hard case for decades. Over time all the threads were tangled, and it was just a mess every time I had to sew on a button. I got fed up and searched for a new one. There are many that look similar to this one, but are less expensive. You have to read the measurements and the reviews. The less expensive ones were very small, and consumers were not thrilled with the quality. I wanted something more substantial that would last. I am not a seamstress, nor do I know how to do much more than buttons and repair a hem. When I reach for my kit, I want quality thread, lots of colors, and all the tools I need. This kit has everything, and the quality is good.
