what you are getting with these Traction Boards is a usable Get-yourself-out-of-trouble Ticket. these are heavier and thicker than Maxtrax boards and as a side effect of the design stack about twice as Thick as maxtrax, (four maxtrax stacked are about the thickness of two of these) They are also stiffer than maxtrax, you can decide for your own if that is advantageous or not. I used them to pull my Nissan Frontier out of the snow ended up cracking the first few inches of one of the boards, I was bummed about the break But They did get me out of a bind, So I posted a review the next morning. This is more of a review of the quality of service That I got from Welauto than the boards themselves I was contacted by Wellauto shortly after I posted my original review and they wanted to correct the issue for me, they are sending me a replacement board, they have been more than helpful and I am very happy to see that they are taking care of their customers, I Still wouldn't put these boards up against a set of maxtrax but then this set of Orcish Traction Boards cost about $230 less than a set of MAXTRAX as well. (priced at $300) so for a piece of emergency equipment meant to get yourself out of trouble you can't go wrong.

THESE SAVED ME FROM A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT
I bought these to keep me from getting stuck somewhere waiting for help. Today, I slid down a steep hill that was snow over ice in my 2500HD with snow tires on it. The grass underneath the snow caught me from going into a ravine. The NEXT truck that slid down was only minutes after me, and would have ended me and my truck. I hopped out, threw the tracks under my truck, and was able to clear out of the way of the next truck in about 45 seconds total. HOLY CRAP!!! I am so insanely grateful for these, and the grass that saved my... tush... haha... Crisis averted. Here I thought these were just a convenience, they are a necessity. Wherever you slide and get stuck, the next person will too...

Great product for the price.
I normally use Maxxtracks but found this online through Amazon we have only used it once and it held up better than we expected. We were stuck in mud put these tracks under and pulled right out. They did bend alot but held up just fine.

I drove 2400 miles through Baja Mexico over 3 months, and used these to get my Sprinter van out of the sand 4 times. I also helped strangers get their car out of the sand; these are an incredible investment, saves THOUSANDS in towing costs! The downside is that we used them in the snow yesterday when my vehicle got stuck, and one board cracked in half. so i was looking into maxxtraxx but the price threw me off and then i found a review on these via youtube from some australian dude who compared these to the maxtraxx.... you wont be disappointed... i have used these in the mud and sand a few times with my 3rd gen 4runner. it has also helped out others when they have gotten stuck in similar situations. I havent used them in my huge 7.3 for e350 ambulance 4x4 but the plan is to put them to work and see how they do in the cold snow with a 9k lb rig. i highly recommend them

Definitely worth the money
I am new to Jeeping and have been in the market for traction boards. I was hesitant to buy these because of some of the reviews that said these helped once but then broke. Well I have a 2 year old daughter that I usually have out with me and my mom brain said โwell, even if they only save us once, they SAVE US ONCE.โ I am happy to report the weekend after I received these I did in fact get caught in a rut on the beach. Wedge them up to both of my stuck rear tires and I was free in no time. Not only did they save us, they are still in perfect shape. They didnโt break or crack like some of the other reviews stated. Also, I really like the bright blue color, if that sort of thing matters to you.

This product just saved us a $500-$800 wrecker bill. THE BEST INVESTMENT EVER!! I own a small logistics company and during the winter, loading produce in the middle of the field, or just simply trying to drive off my own lot after rain has caused us quite a headache. So I took a chance on this because I wasnโt sure if itโll hold up to a semi truck. So I purchased them for our trucks. One for each truck. My husband was extremely skeptical but my logic was, spend under $100 each for this and if it works just one time, it would have paid for itself. Today we got stuck. we were not loaded so per axle weight was probably around 13k-17k lbs. we were stuck in soft dry sand. As you can see from the video, it saved us not only a huge wrecker bill but also saved us time which can ruin any truck driverโs day.
