These lights are AMAZING!

I stumbled across these and after reading the reviews and seeing how inexpensive they were, I went ahead and ordered a set. UNBELIEVABLE the quality and the amount of light these put out! Installation is straight forward on these. You do get two clips per strand to screw into your truck bed if you so choose. I mounted these in my 2006 Ford F-250 and was initially concerned since I have Line-X in my pickup bed. I wiped down the area I wanted to mount them with brake cleaner first, then installed the lights. I installed the two brackets on each strand as well, and in fact ordered some more off of Amazon. I will probably go ahead and add a couple more per strand, but I don't think it will be necessary. The lights adhere amazingly well, even over the Line-X bed protector! If you have a bed cover (I have a Bak-Flip) you will wonder how you survived without these, especially at night when you typically grab your light on your phone to make sure you got everything out of your pickup bed!

Great lights

My 4th set of these lights. Switch is great, lights are bright and wires are usually long enough. For this truck I wired the power to the 12v constant from the trailer brake connector.

Required materials

Great kit, relatively easy to install, missing some basic materials but if you're doing this you should already have everything on hand: extra wires, heat shrink, electrical tape, crimps/solder, something to connect to power, and some silicone if you cut any strips to size. Includes zip ties but nowhere near enough. The adhesive is pretty strong, will update when/if it fails in the future, the connection are water tight and secure. I did buy the 3pc kit but only used 2 because thats more than enough(I didn't like having the light shining directly at my eyes when looking into the bed) might use the 3rd strip somewhere else. I only knocked 1 star from "easy to install" because it was missing some basic things but its really easy to install, if not sure there are lots of videos with specific car installs Can't speak for durability since its only been 3 days since install but seems pretty solid, I'm sure the first thing to fail would be the adhesive, it does include some plastic brackets and self tapping screws to mount securely but I didn't want to drill holes into my young truck.

Lights, No More Camera, Action

I bought these for my husband for Christmas and we just had them installed recently. They're awesome! My husband has a Tonneau cover on his truck so it was very dark especially at night. Our son plays hockey so a lot of times he had night games and we'd find one of us having to hold our cellphone up for light while the other helped him get his goalie gear on. Now you open the tailgate and can see everything! We think they're great, definitely needed. The only downside is that you are not given anything for the switch to anchor it in the bed. We just used a mounting tape to adhere the switch to the side of the bed, where it's easily accessible but out of the way that it wouldn't be damaged if loading and unloading the truck. The other thing is that the lights have to be on, on the truck for the bed lights to work. We still think it's a good quality product for the money and serves its purpose.

Connectivity and plug and play

My only two complaint with these are 1: they smell awful almost like weed when I got them. But I know It was not so it was not a big deal for me. 2. Installation isn't easy because it depends on what you want to do. A lot of cutting and rewiring for me since I want to connect them to the mictuning harnesses. I am still working on it. Over all they are good product and I believe they will get the job done.

Very bright

I was alittle hesitant on making this purchase only cause of how cheap it was & i was wanting a great dependable bright light so on a whim i bought it & it was a great purchase. For anyone whos wanting to light up a truck bed this product will do it. I used it on a super duty 8ft bed & even though the strips are only 5 ft long they still do a great job. I wish that they came in 8ft strips.

You Light Up My Life

Almost Perfect!!!! The only thing needing improvement is the linking them together. Two tie together end to end via cable but then the first on and this pair ties to a “y” at the switch. If all 3 were end to end and one to the switch, it would be perfect. That being said, I am 100% happy. Lights up entire bed with a top cover. There are no instructions but it is pretty easy when you lay it all out before you start.

Let there be Light....

No more fumbling around the back of the truck looking for something, installing these lights makes a difference. you will no longer need a flashlight. highly recommend to all Truck owners.

Good lights - easy to modify lengths for application if so inclined

Very bright, worked well. I cut two of the three strips shorter, re sealed the caps, fitted all three around my truck bed toolbox (used some zip ties to keep tidy), and wired them down the gap between back of bed and cab, secured underneath running boards, and ran the wire up through rear passenger side door grommet hole, and up into the third break light connection (with LED lights inline switch set to on position) - so they come on when doors open etc. Looks good, works well, good price!

Would recommend!

I have gone through 3 different light types for my truck bed and these are by far the best. I like the different connection options and they have great adhesion. I applied them in less than ideal temps and they stuck no problem. I would recommend these over any other light strips.
